Kinda the definition of MINDLESS if you ask me!!
Not necessarily as bad thing though!!
Even as a big Xbox fan, this is objectively, not a very good list.
I think it is $29.99 but included at launch on Game Pass.
Upon reading my comment again, you guys are right!! LOL I completely misspoke
I find that statement very short sighted unless you are like 75 years old, and I'm pretty sure most here are not. Just look at the tech changes that have happened over the last 20 years. Change is happening faster and faster. I'm 50 and I feel pretty confident that those things will happen in my lifetime. Of course I could die tomorrow, so I guess I have to allow for that!!
I really don't get all the hate about this. Does everyone here lack the foresight to envision technological changes. Gaming is technology, tech changes and evolves. Sure cloud streaming is not a possibility right now, but that tech changes quickly. In 5 years, who knows where we will be. I'm sure even then it will not be a option for many, but it will be an option for many others. Why is this such a big problem for everyone.
Not everyone has high speed interne...
I guess you can still download it free with GWG. I think I saw that the DLC was marked down 95% as well.
I know I'm in the minority here (I'm used to it!!) but I really enjoyed the over the top silliness. To me, that was what really separated it from just being another GTA clone. JMO
Perhaps it is just avoiding the obvious, but what about Cyperpunk 2077?
He clearly stated that being this was an Xbox centered site he was going to limit his list to games that released on some form of Xbox. He also stated he had been playing them since OG PLaystation, so pretty sure he's not a "youngster"
Uhh, who really cares?? I have an Xbox One and Gamepass not PSNow. I suppose you might have a point for those looking for a new console, but most people have already made their choice in this generation.
I'm really happy for you that you enjoy your PSNow subscription!! It has no bearing on my happiness with Gamepass. That is why it is good to have choices. I'm pretty sure there is room for improvement on both systems.
Peace
Thus Microsoft move into streaming and more content driven revenue. That is where the business is moving anyway. There will always, at least for the time being, people who want to play on a console, but that is not where industry growth is coming from.
Of course if this move does not work out for Microsoft, it could be a problem, but they are a much larger and more diversified company than Nintendo and Sony.
Wow!! No PS fanboys have come in to say that Gamepass is a shame. If you don''t like it, don't get it. I like it, so I got it!!
I'm waiting for the sewer worker sim!!
I think it is much more likely that console sales are tailing off is due to the fact that a new console generation is on the way. Microsoft is playing a long game, and they are doing a good job of it. Sony and Microsoft are choosing to go in 2 different directions, which I think is a good thing, as I think they can both be successful. More options are always better.
As a older gamer (50), the subscription model appeals to me. I simply don't have time to play all of the games I buy anymore, so I, like many gamers, ends up with a backlog of games I never really get around to playing. With Gamepass, I have access to a large backlog, as well as some new releases. It's all the gaming I really have time for, and I get it for $10 a month. Actually it is free for me as I use Microsoft Reward points to pay for my subscription.

I think the technology is where gaming may go, eventually. I for one will not be forking out any money until I actually see if this works. No Beta?? Really?? There is nothing here that makes me want to be an early adopter.
Personally I am most excited that this game will be available on Game Pass at launch. This is one of the games I had circled on my calendar to purchase at launch, but now I won't have to!!
Makes sense as it is a first party exclusive that will launch on Game Pass. Clearly Microsoft is all in on Game Pass.
The nice thing about many of these games is they require very little investment. The older games especially can be picked up for under $10 on Ebay and many are part of streaming services like Gamepass or PSNow.
I feel more relaxed playing some of these games because I don't attach the expectations to it in the same way I would with a full priced $60 game.
