The answer is...no.
It's Twinfinite, that's all they do!
Likely won't take 70 years. 20 years I was rocking 56K and feeling pretty good about it!!
I think that the emphasis is on FUTURE. Bandwidth will continue to increase. I'm old enough to remember when the internet was a new thing. I didn't understand the usefulness of this thing that companies used to basically post pictures of their products and brochures on. Even when internet commerce became a thing, I just couldn't grasp the concept of why anyone would want to buy things without being able to see and touch them in real life. My brother started working for PayPal...
I saw the base game listed for $12 yesterday, pretty funny when they are charging $13 a month for this subscription mess!!
Awesome, if you follow the posted link, you can also get Rickrolled!!
Between that and using my Microsoft Reward points, I should be good for the next year or more. I have had Gamepass for almost a year now and have only actually paid in full for a single month. It's worth it even at 15 bucks, but I've only paid an average of $2.50 a month for 2 years of service, including the Live portion that I used to pay $5 a month for anyway. Loving the GP!!!
Getting ready for a weekend of Outer Worlds!!
Link doesn't work , now it does, error on my part.
Happy to see all the PS fanboys check in!!! Just to make you feel better, I submit and bow to the Gods of Playstation and the most AWSOME system ever known to man!!!
I mean seriously, does someone have to come in to every positive Xbox article to counter with how Microsoft can do no right? I think they are actually more or less the same. I play Xbox because I have since the OG Xbox and I have neither the time or money for two consoles. I guess the folks around here have...
I'm not sure why that is "strange and unrealistic". Look at is like a full game demo. If ownership concerns you, you can purchase it at a discount. I suppose you still have the issue of digital ownership, but that is just how everything is going. I know I try more games because of it. I can download something, play it for an hour, and if I don't like it, delete it. I personally find it great value for money.
I find that most of the people who critici...
I use Microsoft reward points to pay for my subscription. I've had a membership for a year now and have only actually paid for one month, between the points and various promo's. Yes, it takes me about 5 min a day to "farm" the points, but not that big a deal if you are a cheap guy like me!!
I didn't even know they still released new games for PS3 and Xbox 360. I mean, we are only a year or so away from another new gen, so it would not seem to make any financial sense. Can you still even buy those consoles new?
The answer is money, they just make more money this way. Can't really criticize a company for wanting to make the most money possible, but this attitude definitely moves Rockstar games from a "must buy" for me into a "wait and see". They really want to have it both ways I suppose.
I think "waiting on user feedback" is a bit of an excuse. They must have a basic road map already in place. I can't imagine that "user feedback" is so impactful on the overall game that it takes this long. Of course maybe I'm wrong
Title is a bit misleading, they don't know a release date, or really much of anything else.
I know I will be in the minority here, but I think it's a very good thing, not just for gamers, but from a sales perspective. There are many games with great story lines that I would have liked to play, but they were just too hard for me to be enjoyable. I like to play games to escape and relax sometimes, why shouldn't I have to option to play them like that. I'm not suggesting that multiplayer should be like that, that is why I don't play multiplayer games. If you want mo...
I have been very happy with Gamepass, but I think it is really about having a choice for now. As an older gamer, I just don't have the time to play all the games I want to, so I have the inevitable backlog which is wasted money as long as I keep buying new games. Gamepass satisfies my personal need to game. I still buy physical copies of games that are not on Gamepass, but I usually am able to wait until they are on sale because there is enough content on Gamepass to keep me engaged. ...
If people would just have a little patience, they could just wait until the game comes out and read about peoples personal opinions and a wide variety of reviews. I've been burned before buying day 1, so I just wait a couple of weeks to make my decision. Sometime I just put them in the category of "buy when on sale"
Oh, by the way, if my post didn't make this obvious enough, I am old! :-) so this advice probably won't apply to many, it didn't to ...
Personally I would add Witcher 3 to the list as well
This reminds me of RDR2, a game with enormous hype that it could probably never live up to. RDR2 was still a very successful game and in many ways, an excellent game. It just wasn't everything for everyone, something that is very challenging, if not impossible to achieve. I felt burned by RDR2, but I think I expected too much.
