Still high school hipster hacker bullshit, though.
Lol, this game is never getting finished.
I'm beyond happy that this actually has a single player campaign.
I could have told you that the day the Gamepad was revealed...
I'll wait for an official announcement before I start speculating.
Just because you think Forza and Halo are boring doesn't mean everyone agrees with you. One of the biggest complaints about MS's exclusives for the 360 were that they were all either FPS games or Fable--which was both fair and unfair. But this gen they've been trying to diversify their exclusive line up, and they've been doing a great job, despite the games not appealing to everyone. Forza doesn't need to appeal to Halo fans which doesn't need to appeal to Gears fans w...
Can we maybe have a prominent gay male character that isn't a flaming queen stereotype? Or is it just gonna be a bunch of lesbians and "I'll screw anything" Jack Harkness style bisexual men?
Either way, fucking stupid thing to advertise in a game that doesn't even have romance options. Way to pander, guys.
How is being forced to buy DLC to get the ending of a series a good thing? Isn't this exactly the kind of DLC practice we all scream about? Or is it okay because CD Projekt Red is cool?
Again, I'm talking *about* the presentation, because that's what this article is about. I'm not saying Sony has no exclusives, because only idiots and fanboys try to make that argument. But people are saying this is Sony's best E3 ever when all they did was announce things that we might not play for three years. It was a conference built around hype and pushing VR. That's not the "best ever". I will say it was the best console manufacturer E3 this year, if only b...
I'd have to see how Farpoint actually plays before I pass judgement on it. The other VR games I've mentioned were at Sony's booth and I read reports from people who were there and actually played them. I will say that I'm skeptical of a move light gun experience being at all fun to play, even with VR though.
And do I *need* to see those games? Maybe not, but they still could have showed off new gameplay or features like MS and Bethesda did, or they could hav...
It's a stupid argument. The only people who "win" E3 are the gamers, and even that's totally subjective. "Who won" arguments and articles are probably the stupidest part of modern gaming. It should be "who cares?", because console wars are for children and clickbait websites. What matters is that there are ways for gamers to enjoy their experiences. And that's something this generation has provided in spades.
I'm still not sold on the Scorpio and the "gaming beyond generations" thing not being a disaster for console gaming, but I very much appreciate the focus on games with release dates, or at least release windows. The Minecraft stuff bored the hell out of me, but the 10 minutes or whatever they showed of We Happy Few totally sold me on the game. I loved seeing more Gears 4 gameplay, and finally seeing Recore in action was great too. MS's conference focused too much on hardware...
They need to wait until Skywind is almost done then serve a C&D and steal all their assets.
@Forhammer
Thank you for posting that. Honestly, I hate this site sometimes.
Looks very nice but I have no idea why it needed to be in early access.
And how many of those are exclusives that showed up at Sony's conference?
I don't know why you decided to post a list of every game coming out on the PS4 this year, but that has nothing to do with anything I've been saying. Good copypasting skills, though?.
Most conferences, not just MS, showed off things that were coming out this year though. Bethesda showed more of Dishonored, revealed Skyrim HD, announced DLC for Fallout 4, all things coming this year. Even Ubisoft revealed Watch Dogs 2 being released this year. And EA had their sports crap and, yeah, Mass Effect is early next year and it'll probably be delayed again, but if all goes well it still has a release date and it wasn't really a focus of their show. Sony was, as far as I wat...
When did I say they needed to show only games with release dates? I want a show of more things being released this year. Sony showed Last Guardian, which was the only game they showed with a release date this year that wasn't a VR game, and Horizons, which has already been delayed once and is coming out in 2017. Everything else was "in development". They basically released a bunch of hype videos, which does nothing for me--and a lot of other people. In the case of Death Strandin...
Read the article. The guy claims it's not going to change the performance at all, all it's going to do is put more pixels on the screen if you have a 4K TV.
If you think the acting was bad you've obviously never played a Resident Evil game before. Keeping in mind that this was just a demo, this was still easily the best acted Resident Evil game.
