Have *any* of these rumored free games lists ever turned out to be accurate?
The Atari 2600 launched in 1977 at $199, which is about $777 in today's money when you adjust for inflation, so yes, I'd be saying the same thing about the Atari that I'm saying about VR. In 2016 we know that video games lasted, we know that the Atari was a success, but it very easily could have fizzled out, even in 1977 when there just wasn't as much technology available for home use. Today it's even easier for a new piece of tech to never catch on, so it's not at all...
Wow this is the most speculatey speculation article I've ever seen. Not only are they guessing at what price the Rist will drop to in a year and a half but they're just assuming the price of a console who's price hasn't even been announced yet. What is MS partners with Valve? The Vive is much more expensive than the Rift. These articles are so pointless.
Or maybe he just doesn't want to have to wear a headset to play games? Or any one of a hundred reasons he might not like even the idea of VR? I've never had my leg cut off but I'm pretty sure I don't need to try it to know the experience won't be to my tastes.
Considering one of the three games Sony let people play live made a lot of people incredibly motion sick and the other were short "experiences" and not actual games I don't know where people get that PSVR will be an "awesome experience". A less expensive one, yes, and easily the most affordable and probably most popular for a while too, but I haven't read anything aside from Sony press releases and fanboy comments that say it'll be amazing.
I have no idea why anyone would spend so much money on first generation technology. Especially since VR still hasn't proven that it isn't going to fizzle out in a few years like most video game peripherals, not to mention the serious lack of quality content to actually use the headsets on.
The top 2 games on this list are multiplatform games. Why.
Learning patterns is boring, though.
Because they're run by SJWs? How is this not common knowledge by now?
Never cared to. I play games for an enjoyable experience, dying over and over again for hours just to get more skilled at something I'm not enjoying is pretty pointless.
Agreed. They're stressful and frustrating.
So, a game about Remain voters then?
There are more feelings than "sad", you know.
Like most Ubisoft games***
I want harassed single dad Kratos.
Wrong, entertainment is everything. If you're using your game to push a social agenda chances are your game probably isn't very fun.
That costume still looks terrible though.
I'm not talking about his look, I'm talking about the fact that this seems like it was written by a hipster sitting in a Starbucks right after marathoning Mr Robot. I guarantee it will hit every single hacker movie cliche along with every Ubisoft writing crutch.
People seem to forget that RE has been trying to change its formula for years. Ever since 5 they've gone through phases where it's an action game, a co-op TPS, a "more horror focused" co-op TPS, a light gun game, and no matter what Capcom has tried to do every single time they release a new RE game people say it needs to focus more on the horror aspect. So, that's what they're doing. And as someone who's been playing RE games since the first one came out, I can s...
