Literally what I came here to say.
Console will always be plug and play on a TV. To get the same experience with PC you need to add a lot more steps and money. The average console gamer wants convenience as well as a lowish entry price, so no, this isn't going to cause some mythical PC resurgence. Nice attempt at a hot take though.
And I'm sure when those developers are let out of the basement for their monthly twenty minutes of sunlight and rag baths they'll be very appreciative of these comments.
They're racing to get this out before Death Stranding. 2021 is gonna be a crazy packed year.
Blah blah blah, people have been saying this since DLC started and, guess what? People still buy DLC.
Ugh, should say "PS4 version" not "PS4 exclusivity". I hate how often I don't proofread the crap I post.
You seem like a bot that posts the most common and overused comment section talking points.
In another interview Brandon Greene said the reason they're not doing PS4 exclusivity right now is that they have a small team and they want to focus on PC and Xbox, and because PS4 has no early access/game preview program. So it'll probably launch on PS4 at some point, but if you don't want to wait potentially another year after it comes out on Xbox you'll probably want the X1 version.
Calling it now: Skyrim Mobile.
This is very cool and interesting, so it'll be shut down within the year.
Once again Kotaku is throwing their support behind something stupid.
Uh, RE7 was the best RE game in years. What the hell are you talking about?
I would love this. Alpha Protocol was very underrated.
More diversity, but their online is still garbage and they can't make enough consoles to supply a demand. Glad they worked on the important stuff first though.
Shame this is wasted on VR.
Yeah I can't even count how many reviews I've read where the major complaints boil down to "I don't like this genre". People should stick to what they know and are comfortable with and are knowledgeable about, but unfortunately big gaming sites don't really care and smaller ones, unless they have a narrow focus, might not have the staff. Games journalism is a shitty thing for a lot of reasons.
They don't even need to be "good". They just need to be able to play at a level above an average six year old. The guy playing Cuphead couldn't even read and comprehend the on screen instructions. He was just terrible.
Stop putting each game on its own page!
HA!
