You're seriously overestimating the amount of console players that even want to game on PC. It's not just the hardware, it's the whole experience. Couch vs chair, 27 inch monitor vs 50 inch TV, entry price, etc etc. There are going to be a lot of people who have functional laptops or tablets for their computer use, and the Xbox One X will be their first real experience with "PC quality" gaming. I agree with everything except Operation Health. We're still getting all the new characters and levels we were promised at the beginning of season 2, they're just delayed/spread out a bit. Plus, it was desperately needed. Though, I'm a bit annoyed that they added the feature to customize your operators while the game is matchmaking right after they make matchmaking last 30 seconds at most.
I don't get what the problem is. They've stated (multiple times now) that the loot boxes won't affect the balance of the base game in any way. Personally, as long as that's true, I don't see any problem with offering to let people pay for a way to get through a game faster. Not everyone is an unemployed teenager or an out of work college student or independently wealthy. I don't think anyone thought the gameplay wouldn't be good. It's all the shit surrounding Konami and the Metal Gear series as a whole, and the fact that no one wants a multiplayer only Metal Gear survival zombie game, that people have a problem with.

CSGO, like pretty much all Valve console ports, was also barely supported on consoles. Battleground is being published by Microsoft, with PC crossplay (I believe). Very different from Valve throwing console players a bone then ignoring them. Also, if you want examples of PC series that did/does better or just as well on consoles: Call of Duty and Doom are two that come to mind right away. So just because something is successful on PC doesn't mean it'll fail on consoles.
