Best. Troll. Ever. I've rarely seen so much salt concentrated in a single comments section.
No, especially when most of that length is just forced busy work. I've had a better experience with Hellblade and Evil Within 2 than I have with most AAA, open world, 60+ hour games this year. If a game is going to be super long it needs a reason to be besides "people will bitch about spending 60 dollars on a game that isn't a two week long time commitment". Also, what very few people talk about is how these super long games totally kill any replay value they might otherwise...
Except where the game grinds to a halt and forces you to do constant side quests in order to be a high enough level to progress in the story.
The tones of these articles are ridiculous. You're not a ragtag group of rebels fighting against an evil corporate overlord. You're a bunch of pseudo-journalists whining about the same crap people have been whining about for years and, guess what, your only "victory" is getting microtransactions temporarily removed from one game that's bad even without the microtransactions. When you can get a more reasonable tone from a comments section, you know your articles are terri...

Also, I'd take the RE chainsaw controller and being able to look at a TV over a VR headset any day.
Zelda for me. Mario is way too focused on mindless moon collecting; it reminds me way too much of Riddler trophies in the Arkham games. I definitely prefer older 3D Mario games, or even better, the 2 or 2.5D ones, where BotW is the best Zelda game I've ever played and I have a hard time playing the older games without being a bit disappointed.
Put your pictures on one page ffs...
VR is generally the worst way to experience games.
ffs, it's not a full game! It shouldn't be winning awards!
As long as they're actual nazis and not thinly veiled allegories for "everyone to the right of Bernie Sanders" then yep, definitely.
This is how everyone should review games. Personal bias and agenda pushing have no place in journalism outside of editorials.
And nothing of value was lost.
This is probably the safest prediction I've ever seen.
I hate how many people have no idea what an RPG is.
I'm not so much defending it as I am trying to get people to think and not automatically jump to the worst possible conclusion because they like being outraged about something. The amount of anger people have about lootboxes and microtransactions is so far passed ridiculous and annoying it's veering off into embarrassing.
This article makes no mention of EA saying they were going to drop the price of heroes by 75%. They specifically mention the reddit post and the 60,000 credits, which is outdated right now according to that other article on this site. Depending on when EA made the decision to lower the price, this could just be nothing.
Actually, if this gets more people to buy the game, it's Gamers 1 - EA 1. You know, because EA exists to sell products and make money. Unless you think the only reason EA exists is to screw gamers over, and if so then there's no hope for you.
You do realize the message this kind of crap sends to companies is "we're never going to buy your product so you shouldn't listen to us", right? What a stupid, childish mentality this is.
Oh ffs. There's nothing wrong with this. If you don't like all female characters looking cute, then play a different game. It's actually a lot easier than people think to avoid things that bother you.
Stupid. If Loot Boxes are gambling then so are those quarter machines that give you a random prize. Terrible precedant, but I'm not surprised it's coming from Europe.
