By the same token, why are most of the PS3 fanboys on this site not banned? About 85% of them talk exactly like that about the 360 and they don't even get their comments hidden let alone get banned.
Some of you guys are silly. The bottleneck for modern console games in terms of textures is the RAM, not the size of textures that can fit on the disc. Fitting higher res textures on the disc is worthless if the size of the RAM is too small to hold them.
It doesn't look like crap. Those are PC guys that think anything that isn't running at super high resolutions, 60FPS and with loads of anti-aliasing looks like crap. The 360 version of course is never going to live up to the standards of the PC version, but it is nevertheless a really great looking game by console standards.

No, it's not because you stated a fact, it's because you came to an unwarranted and faulty conclusion based on that fact, i.e. "MS's strategy isn't working so well after all".
You would need to look at all retailers and see how well pre-orders for Kinect are doing to come to that conclusion. Actually, you would probably need to wait until it is launched to see how it is received.

I don't prefer PC gaming for a variety of reasons: DRM issues, games not running right on my hardware, messing with drivers and other issues just to try to get my games to work right. That is why I stopped upgrading my PC and started gaming more on consoles.

You do realize the PS3 has hardware limitations too right? They each have their strengths and weaknesses.

Hey danmachine, I don't know what is wrong with your eyes, but that looks as good as anything I have seen in Uncharted 2. I play Uncharted 2 online quite often and I have beaten the story mode twice.
Now, Killzone 3 might end up looking better than this, but right now this looks as good as anything currently available.

BTW, Sony has been playing catch up all generation in terms of achievements, netflix, and online functionality. I still can't send voice messages on PSN, I still can't cross game voice chat. I still can't enter into a party with friends and stay connected no matter what we are doing. Sony has been playing catch up in most areas.
