I really hope people aren’t getting their hopes up for a super powerful Switch Pro. I agree a revision is coming, but it’s likely going to be similar to the 3DS/New 3DS. I’m all for improved Nintendo hardware, but I still think this game can be patched to have a more consistent frame rate.
My only gripe was Melissa Villasenor calling the Warp Zone the “war zone”, but whatever. 🤣This was a Kyle Mooney sketch through and through.
Well deserved. I know COVID threw a wrench in things, but shouldn’t we be getting hints at the next entry soon? It’s been a year and a half since three houses dropped, and it has a 2-3 year release cycle. Maybe a teaser at next years E3.
I completely disagree with the author. This Warriors game isn’t just a Dynasty Warriors game with Link slapped on the cover. It was developed closely with the main Zelda team and fills in a complete backstory that was only hinted at in BOTW. It seems to run the same engine, complete with detailed story cinematics. In the reveal, they had Aonuma come out and state how closely the Zelda team worked with KT. And since this is a game that accurately fleshes our past events mentioned in BOTW, I’d comfortably say this is canon. My opinion, anyway.
This looks... amazing. You can tell KT really worked closely with the Zelda team on this. It looks even better than BOTW in some spots, but that’s to be expected since BOTW was built for the weaker WiiU.
I’ll admit, I never thought I would buy into the “toys as games” genre of amiibo, labo, etc. but I may get this. Good to see Nintendo doing more augmented reality.
I’m glad I paid attention to the rumors about all stars 3D being just up rezzed ports. Otherwise I’d be as disappointed as some of these people here. 🤣 To be honest, I had my expectations even lower, so to speak. I was half expecting Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy to be all separate and $60 apiece.
Also, anyone notice the Mario Kart augmented reality game? Looks kind of promising.
I like how they called it Mario 3D All Stars, as an homage to the SNES version. And yeah, I’m also feeling the loss of Galaxy 2.
They should be relatively cheap and/or easy to make. Just use the Links Awakening engine. That would be a pleasant surprise.
I wonder what the new threshold for elite smash is. I was always in the high six mill with my main, Zelda, but never got in. Maybe now I have a shot.

I agree. I just wish they would announce something already. Whatever they planned to show at E3 could be shown in a Direct now or later in July. They seem to be adopting a new approach in announcing a game only 1 or 2 months before its released. Fingers crossed for the remakes.

Don’t know if anyone will reply, but out of curiosity, how much would $350 get Nintendo, tech wise, in 2021? Say they want to make a profit (or break even) on a Switch Pro day 1, and it’s released next year at $350. What kind of nvidia SoC could it get? What kind of screen? RAM? Storage? Could it finally do 1080p 60 FPS in docked mode for the more demanding games like Witcher 3? I can’t imagine anything higher than 1080p 60 FPS at that price point.
