I'm talking about this:

The whole mixing TV and games just sounds DUMB to me. I really feel like if this game wasn't an exclusive there wouldn't be nearly as many people onboard with this idea. I mean why is the TV stuff necessary? Make a great game and it'll speak for itself. Last of Us sure didn't need a TV show tie-in to make the game work. Nor would it have helped. I just don't get it.
I also haven't played it so I'm not saying it IS dumb...just that I'm not sold...
This exact quote is what makes me skeptical of the game.
More lies. If they want to keep it on XB1, I totally get it... but we're not stupid. Don't lie and say it can't/won't run on a PC when that's clearly ALL you demoed leading up to lauch.
Everytime I see articles like this I'm not sure what the purpose is... Do you want a pat on the back? What makes your situation and decision more important than mine or anyone elses on this site?
@Nerdmaster no, I didn't. Because I'm not interested in someone else's reasoning for purchasing products. There are just a lot of these articles and I wonder why.
Alan Wake sales tho.
If developers make games THEY want to play, that should be enough. Good developers will be able to look at the final product and know it's weaknesses so that when they go foward, they learn from those weaknesses and move on to their next project. Developers seeking out comments are merely seeking praise to their game and are disheartened when they see some hate. Hate will ALWAYS be here, it's ALWAYS been here, it's just easier to see now.
Expecting the internet to...
DLC before we even see ANYTHING on the game... great start, guys.
Riiight. Put the HUD-aka information you find useful WHILE racing- on a separate screen in which you have to look away from your main screen to see. This is my problem with this second screen mentality. A lot of people don't get that it's not an asset, it's a deterrent.
Forza and GT will have their work cut out for them when this thing gets on xb1/ps4.
Guys we should all feel TERRIBLE for FORCING EA to do this. Poor guys. :)
Maybe they can see glimpses of the PS2 era in the PS4 as well.
The game.... is called Dirt. So.... ummm..........
In other words "we have no idea what to do with this franchise"
Man that MS pool of exclusives is pretty shallow. Shows the value in creating your own content and not just buying up an exclusive here and there from 3rd parties. Not much to go back to down the road.
All you saying PS+ is rental... so are you planning to drop xbox live gold? No... you're going to keep it, because almost LITERALLY everything on xbox is behind the Gold paywall. So stop acting like you're going to get it in, get games, then drop gold. You'll have gold just like all PS players will have +. What happens after you drop the service is pretty irrelevant.
And the stuff that you call 'rental' are FREE games. The ps+ discounts you get (like 75% ...
MGS 2 has aged well for 12 years. That game blew me away when I first saw it. Everyone has their one big moment of wow from graphics, MGS 2 was mine.
It's true...after 16 many will tell themselves wrestling is stupid and for kids. Then at some point you grow up and stop being a cynical ***hole and learn to have fun and enjoy things. It's entertainment man.
Something tells me full retail price for this crazy new 'offline mode' they've invented.
PS4 has released in a lot of super small countries in addition to the big ones. MS has only focused on the big ones (where ps4 is still outselling xb1, btw). So while I see the point you're trying to make, MANY of the countries PS4 has launched in are so small they'd hardly make a dent. But yes, if you want to ignore country size and focus on only the number of countries, you get MS is selling at a higher volume per country. But that would be a gross oversimplification and would be ve...
