People act like they have to choose between thief and dishonored. It IS possible to enjoy both, I'm sure.
RE is getting beat at it's own game by indies nowadays. They're in a tough position, no doubt.
More of a F2P version than a demo.
Nostalgia. Literally doesn't matter what Nintendo does or doesn't do, people have soft spots for the big N because of happy childhood memories.
Some people have trouble separating nostalgia from present day.
EA didn't support the Dreamcast either.
Yeah I mean there definitely wasn't some crazy stuff going on in those days. Just a nice, quiet era with some thieving on the side.
Gamecube was an overall commercial failure. Wii struck gold with the casual and non-gamers which turned it into a fad. Without that fad, the WiiU is doomed to repeat, if not perform worse, than the Gamecube, seeing as how Gamecube at least had decent 3rd party support. Wii U barely has any at all.
Hell even if the Wii U had the same hardware as ps4/xb1, Nintendo has still largely ignored Online. So even then, it'd still be at a disadvantage. Factor in that it's basica...
If it IS Sony's fault, then that still means it's Nintendo's fault. Wii U's failure rests ONLY on Nintendo's shoulders. They are just out of touch with console gaming. They got LUCKY with the Wii with it becoming a fad for non & casual gamers. That luck has run out.
So they'll release Wii-Mii in 2 years which will be a bit more powerful than ps4/xb1 but will also not get any good support since, again, no one will buy the thing because it's releasing in an awkward timeframe. Nintendo is bad at timing.
Ill wait for GOTY edition
You'd give your left to avoid buying a PS3?
Gone Home isn't a game, it's an interactive experience through story telling. It's a good experience but it's short. The best part, IMO, is the nostalgic mid 90's home you're going through. Their attention to detail is fantastic.
They're approaching danger territory here... going from excitement, to big hype, and soon something they don't want--unrealistic expectations. That's where they meet harsh criticism.
You do that. Go play MGS4. All 5 hours of it's actual gameplay. And then complain that GZ is only 5 hours of actual gameplay and then proceed to call it a demo.
David Hayter = Nostalgia. But was his performance as snake ever noteworthy.. honestly? Just because he's the only Snake we've ever known doesn't mean no one is better than him. It just means your nostalgia is making you closed-minded. I mean his most notable performance of Snake is the awful delivery of "Metal Gear!?".
And this is how MS supports the Xbox 360. By signing a petition for an old PS2 game.
To be fair I get on MS for their shortcomings. So Sony, no freebies, fix it.
Ironically it stands out well on store shelves.
Yes, let's go by what Sessler says by all means.
This is the latest fad that makes NO sense in terms of functionality, just another looks-good-on-paper gimmick. I ACTUALLY saw someone the other day suggest that the wii u version of pCARS should show the HUD on the second screen.
Just think about that for a sec and how that works with the user experience. People get so blinded by gimmicks.
