Anyone that writes off a game just because it's under the same franchise as a previous game is ridiculous. The name Alien is literally the only thing this game and CM has in common. Not even the same people doing this game. Stop with that tunnel vision.
Next time don't wait 8 years to release a new system and we can possibly avoid these lulls in gaming sales. Sales for PS4/Xb1 show people are ready for the next era of console gaming.
I'm sorry you're mad my opinion does not reflect yours but the amount of money I've spent on MS systems and Xbox games actually gives me complete freedom to express my opinions because they're based on what I've played, not speculative. Why wouldn't they do this? Halo and Forza are just about all that MS have left that are true first party. They are and will continue to milk what they can.

The first one represents everything I hate about games trying so hard to be cool. The amount of bro slang and douchebaggery in that game was endless.

MS said the same thing about 360 in Japan. They essentially have to say this to please investors. Then again, everything MS ever says is to investors.

@iamnsuperman true. I guess it just comes back to firmware still...why can't they just dim the light or something if a camera isn't connected? Very weird indeed.
well it IS the only indicator that the controller is on. Also indicates what controller is which if multiple are being used. I'd like to see a new DS4 released without a lightbar personally. Just no use if there's no camera detecting it.
No reason why Xb1 shouldn't get it too... I've always thought it was weird it was only announced for PS4.
