That's great news for Morpheus. I guess Sony is actively building a VR team of studios and devs to compete against the non-VR first party studios they already own.
What I'm really hoping for to be honest is a VR First Person Shooter that supports the Move Sharp Shooter (the gun thingy for the Move), and with a great emphasis on Local Co-op. I tried to do something similar with the HMZ-T1, but it didn't quite work out as the T1 doesn't track your head.

@ lelo
asking devs to put extra content in a late release is completely different than forcing a dev to delay a game on all other platforms until your version is ready, or dont release on said platform at all.
I fail to see how those two things are the same.
one company says: "fine, you're going to release on the 360 first, meaning a lot less sales for us 4-6 months later. We need incentives so we can market the game and sell it $60 ...
You are so one sided that it is unbelievable. Could you imagine if countries were doing what Microsoft does with this policy?
Could you imagine having to wait until the XBox One releases in Japan before you buy it in the U.S because Japan has a launch parity clause on products?
The idea that a game is ready for one console but has to be held back for another one is facked up beyond beliefs, regardless of who is doing it.
I bought a console f...
@ MightyNoX,
MS HAD to change strategies and what you're seeing right now is a direct result of the outcome of TitanFall.
The amount of money poured into that game was substantial. ( For instance, GTA4's DLC deal for the 360 was $50 million plus for timed exclusitivity, and that was years ago. So one can only imagine how much it cost to keep it off the PS3 and PS4, Delay it on the 360, plus marketing, plus bundling)
i personally belie...
@ Shiny
Titanfall was being bundled with the XBox one making it technically $440.00. It had another price drop in Europe, and the all the other deals and promotions plus advertising they had with Titanfall and they are still being outsold for the month of March.
Retailers dropping $50 off the price right after Titanfall is also cause for concerns. It signals that Titanfall didn't move enough units out of the door.
$50 dollars is not enou...
I believe that a price cut is due between now and E3.
I think that it is imperative that Microsoft announces an official price cut at E3. Last night while running through the numbers from VG Chartz (I know it's not accurate) I realized that the PS4 has outsold the Xbox one worlwide numbers since launching on Feb 22 in Japan alone. 440,000 PS4 vs 306,000 Xbox ones. And that's just in Japan and yes that does include Titanfall sales boost.
So a price cu...
Now I'm not against any of the things you just mentioned ElementX, but I want you to find me a game franchise, where the sequel is not doing the exact same thing you just mentioned for Infamous Second Son.
Let's start with Forza 5
The same cars, the same tracks, the same baked lighting. the really bad background, and the spectators. You race the same way you've raced since Forza 1, and you earn money, unlock new cars, rinse and repeat. 5/5 game, ...
What happened to inFamous Second Son is the same thing that happened to Heavenly Sword and the first Uncharted game on the PS3.
Compared to their peers, those games were easily 9/10 games. But you know when it comes to Sony games, the standards go up. It almost feels like most Xbox games are reviewed with a "Thank God it's Friday" mindset. And Sony games are reviewed with a "Faaack! it is only still Tuesday" mindset. For a Sony game to get the scores ...
First off, let's congratulate MS on managing to edge out the PS4 for this week, on a global scale. A victory is a victory regardless of the margin really. But the Scale of this victory is what isn't ideal for Microsoft.
On that same note though, this is quite close to the scenario I had painted for EA and Microsoft, also to some of the most overzealous Xbox supporters on here (not the regular xbox fans).
Those overzealous fans were going around saying...
Lol precisely my point.
So your point about the Titan and the pilot standing still because the PS Vita would be in someone's pocket doesn't hold up...right? Since it's a commercial and all.
The thing is, we will have to wait for the week ending 29 of March, because the one for 22nd will only have one day of Infamous sales data. inFamous released on the 21st of March.
So it will be week ending 22nd and 29th combine that will give you a good picture of how infamous performed.
In General, MS policies can be summed up like this: "How can we at Microsoft, make sure that we delay or completely prevent half or more of the gaming community from enjoying certain games unless it is on our system?"
Can we pay to delay DLC on other platforms? CHECK
Can we demand same day releases? CHECK
Can we ask that games are held back in contents because our console can't physically handle it?CHECK
Can we ...
""Also, WTH is the point of putting your Titian in AI FOLLOW MODE then putting your Vita in your pocket? That'd leave you both standing still… - _ - Come on dude. Use your head""
Then how come none of the dudes in the commercial were walking around with their Xbox Ones and Controllers?
"It's referencing the fact that you can literally put your Titan in "AI FOLLOW MODE" in the game."
Lol, my point exactly. Your playing at home, then you have to leave your house, you put your Titan in AI FOLLOW MODE using the PS Vita and put in your pocket. when you spot another player with his own titan in AI FOLLOW MODE you pull out your PS Vita, and it cues the titan to pick you up and put you inside it. Metaphorically JUMPING BACK IN the game.... ...
Everytime I see this Titanfall commercial it just reminds me of how much better this game would be on the PS4 and PS Vita.
The commercial feels like it would make more sense if the player was actually walking with a PS Vita, meaning that he can literally bring his Titan with him everywhere he goes.
EDIT: I think that's another reason why Microsoft decided to keep the game off the PS4. Most if not all multiplatform games are selling better on the PS4 and T...
@ septic.
You and I have had a few disagreements in the past. One regarding Killzone Shadow Fall, as you were attempting to tell us how rushed and unfinished the game felt while praising BF4.(Troll)
We also clashed because you have been in 95% of all Titanfall threads on here defending the game at every turn. Nothing is wrong with that, you're passionate, I get it. What Titanfall couldn't do in terms of "consistent 60 fps" you made up for it...
@HacSaw
"Why bring TF into this? Be a leader, not a follower."
I believe it's more than ok to be a follower at times. I tend to follow my sentiments when logical, and I see nothing wrong with that. Matter of fact, great leaders tend to have this ability in abundance.
Now that being said, the person who should have been a leader here, is the author of this crappy review. If you take it upon yourself to lead an audience (journalis...
Let me guess, the website thought that it was going to drive in a lot of traffic by being controversial....
It must really burn them badly to know that inFamous is outspacing Titanfall
5 more hours to go....
Yeah, I'm I've been to Vancouver, coquitlam, burnaby, Surrey, Whiterock, you name it. There isn't a single PS4 to be found anywhere here in Canada.
I'm not even sure if amazon.ca have some or not.
@BX81, I don't know how tall you are or how much you weigh. But I am willing to bet that, like astronauts do in space, you have to strap yourself to the toilet when taking dump. Because we all know that you're entirely full of sh!t, and you f...
@ mhunterjr
I don't think it is a matter of believing that this is impossible. I think it is more of the fact that this is so far off in the future that people genuinely don't believe that it will apply to the Xbox One.
I mean think about it for a bit. It requires a bunch of servers just to run this Demo. What happens when Halo 5 releases and sells over 2-3 million units in 24 hours. 300,000 servers will have problems just keeping the game running for...
