it's pretty much dominated it in the US... and while the US is certainly not the world it is the largest market... with a strong base here I would think MS would start to expand it's influence out of the UK and into Euro markets...
Nintendo quickly dropped the price on the 3DS though
Sony has been out shipping MS for a while now... MS has a much tighter turn around... while I worked as a IM guy at a local Wal-Mart I noticed we would get much larger amounts of PS3s... where as we would get 1-2 Xbox 360s every couple of trucks... of course Wal-Mart puts all the PS3s and 360s in a district warehouse, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were shipping these things out nearly as fast as they got them
it's not like the idea hasn't been floating around out there for years
No... it's not even remotely the same... the concept is the same, but it's about execution and Sony totally ripped off Star Trek right... I understand that people have loyalties tied up in thousands of dollars worth of hardware and software, but lets all agree that the end result is the holodeck and that we all expect to be alive when it happens.
You're assuming that this guy knows how to compile Linux for his machine specifically... and the driver support for Linux is substandard... that in itself makes it less "efficient" for gaming. I don't mind Linux as an OS, but it's not a desktop OS that I would use on an every day basis as a gamer.
I don't think people understand how much cheaper AMD's components are compared to Intels... there is a reason everyone is using AMD now and no one is going to use Intel. The 8 core processer is 200 bones at retail and the graphics card is probably about the same... now you strip all the BS off the price and you manufacture it yourself and you're looking at fraction of the retail cost for the comparable PC component. It wouldn't surprise me is Microsoft goes right with an APU.....
if this is real specs then the components wont cost 400 dollars... not even close... of course there is all the other cost... R&D and other crap, but seriously people are acting like this is expensive when even off the shelf it's rather inexpensive
they'd be paying per plate no?
I already have a "SteamBox" it's called my PC and there is little to no reasons to buy a dedicated system for Steam when I can play every game on y Windows 8 machine... take that you fat mofo
@TheBlackSmoke The primary purpose of Gun is the US is probably hunting, but the reason it's a right to own a gun is for you to actively defend or in the case of a government removing your rights the ability to over throw a tyrannical government...
That's funny... I seem to be having no problems running my Steam software and games on my Windows 8 computer... imagine that... and they generally run better... who would have thought... but it's a piece of crap right? GTFO here
No... I don't have the time or energy to point out everything wrong with what your typed, but nothing is ever as it seem or as simple as people like to make it... nothing is "free" certainly not for commercially sold applications
it wont work... there isn't enough reasons to even buy a steambox... buy a PC run 100x more games then the Steambox will run
maybe he's upset because people lose their kids over less... we don't know the whole story... this could have just been like another bad thing stacked on a bad month for the man.
maybe it was scat porn
the real point is you can buy gold from them... letting you buy gold for cheaper from the likes IGXE hurts their bottom line
BEARS... sasuage also no one says they don't care as well as he does
How many of you actually played the first game on PC? The console version is not the same... it's different though still very fun imo
Why? The whole reason I'd want a Steambox was because it was different from my PC... but I've already got Steam on my PC..
