The US isn't lagging behind in internet speeds the US is just effing huge. Don't compare the US with countries that are smaller than some of our medium-sized states.
I don't have any issues with 30fps games, but 60fps games are pretty noticeable. To be fair I grew up playing many games in the 20fps sometimes high teens...
this is probably the bigger issue for most people than anything else outside of hardware issues

this is more to do with inventory... both MS and Sony would have blown by the Switch if inventory wasn't so limited by manufacturing and it's looking like 2023 before this issue is really cleared up and that sucks.
