I think films will always be around. Sometimes people just want to lie back and disengage the brain and watch a film.
I'd love to see a GTA set in the UK, getting a bit sick of visiting the same old American cities everytime. Glad to see Tax breaks for the games industry getting the limelight during this election. Fingers crossed the next government will do something to help!
Sounds like a blast, wish I could go, but I'm too far North to make it down, what with all this volcano flight chaos!
3D gaming interests me, but not if I have to spend £3000 on a new TV! I've just recently bought an HD set, so have no intention of upgrading any time soon.
Good interview. It will be interesting to see where the Mirrors Edge story goes next.
Good article, a right interesting read.
I hope they've learned from the 2nd game's mistakes and the downhill spiral of the Tony Hawk franchise.
I just wonder how long this game has been in development for. Chances are not long enough. Time will tell I guess.
Good interview. Looks like a good evolution for the franchise that was much needed.
Totally agree with your article. We are only now getting the Ghostbusters space, around a year after the Americans! For something that doesn't need any form of language translation, it's ridiculous. Home is good for the odd half hour, but we need more content to keep us coming back, and that sadly just isn't the case. The whole lack of interactivity, bar silly dances, also mean boredom creeps in all too quickly.
This is shaping up quite well. I hope they get a good sense of speed in it, as there's nothing quite like that Burnout Paradise burst of pace, to get the adrenalin pumping.
Good article, had me chuckling away to myself.
Liking the sound of this. Looks a lot better value than the Stimulus map pack of Modern Warfare 2 that's for sure!
I really like the look of this, it sounds like a blast. If it's as good as something like Bomberman, then count me in.
Good to see innovation isn't dead, this game looks pretty impressive.
It really is shocking that they can get away with this. Between companies switching off servers and MS doing this, the value placed on online multiplayer is gradually diminishing.
I just hope us PS3 owners get to play it as well!
This looks to be a major improvement on the original. Fingers crossed!
Seems entirely plausible to me!!
There's definitely more safety nets in games nowadays, with unlimited continues the norm. I think if they brought back the old method of lose your lives and it's game over, hardly any games would get played to completion.
