Would love to play this game, but Valve hate PS3, so no chance of that happening!
What made me laugh in Fallout 3 was that even though I was wearing the suit of armour I could still run around quite the thing, that is until I pick up that extra heavy tin can that was lying around, which pushed me through the weight threshold!
I'm trying desperately to get some of my mates into gaming again, but due to some of them having children, their own leisure time and money are limited, so they are now a lost generation of gamers. Some of them still have PS2's but have never upgraded to the latest consoles. There are a couple who have moved away and online gaming keeps me in touch with them, which is something positive that this gen of consoles has achieved.
Really looking forward to this game, the destruction is really impressive. Roll on March.
Fallout 3 was a hoarders paradise. I had all kinds of junk stored away for a rainy day. You just never know when you might need that broken crutch...
This is a step backwards into the dark ages, and this 'Big Brother' must be stopped. I sense a revolution is coming...
For some reason I feel compelled to get all the trophies in the Uncharted games. No other game has the same appeal. It must be something to do with the fact you can go back to the individual levels to find the idols, rather than playing through the whole game again. I wish other developers would split their games up like that, as I don't have the time to play through games multiple times just for their trophies.
Having seen Up, and A Christmas Carol in 3D. I have to say it does add to the cinema experience. However I've just upgraded my TV to HD, and the thought of forking out £3000 for a new set just doesn't appeal to me at the moment. They just seem desperate for us to spend even more money on gimmicks.
Nothing I've seen about Avatar, either film or game has got me excited. I saw the trailer for the film, and just don't think all the hype is warranted. 3D entertainment is on the rise, but I'm certainly not going to upgrade my HD set any time soon, especially not with a £3000 price tag!
I blame the parents for letting young children play violent games in the first place! What's wrong with a bit of Mario for starters? Stupid people right enough.
I love Fallout 3, still got loads to do, and need to try out the DLC. Vehicles would be an obvious addition and ID software's new game Rage looks very Falloutesque, with vehicles playing a prominent role as well. I agree the 'acting' in Fallout 3 can be a bit wooden, and Uncharted 2 shows just what can be done with quality talent.
Sounds like a complete disaster to me. I doubt they'll lose any sleep over it mind you. It seems that their concentrating on the console versions instead.
The first was flawed, so I'm hoping this sorts out the problems and ramps the action up a notch. Judging from the videos I've seen it looks like Avalanche have done the business.
Chuckie Egg gave me some of my best memories from childhood. It's good to see the genre make a comeback with Little Big Planet and New Super Mario Bros leading the charge.
It's good to see a politician standing up for our hobby, rather than spouting ignorant comments.
If I didn't have an internet connection this game would be the biggest rip-off of all time. For the single player experience to last 4-6 hours is shocking. What have Infinity Ward been up to in the last 2 years? I mean half the multiplayer levels use textures and items from the previous Modern Warfare! It is a great game, especially the multiplayer, but they need to beef up the single player to make the game worth the money. I was lucky to only fork out £26 for it, but I feel sorry for t...
Great interview, really insightful.
Games are for fun not fitness!! But fair play to Ninty, Wii Fit is a lot of fun
I hope Rebellion have had enough time to make a decent game, unlike the time spent on the pretty poor PSP game a couple of years back.
Loved the original couple of games, but things have gone downhill for Lara since then. Uncharted 2 blows the Tomb Raider series to smithereens in terms of gameplay and story. I do hope that they can get back to what the game was all about at the start: exploration and puzzle solving.
