A release date before Xmas for 3DS please...
Most games these days have the same level of scriptwriting as Snakes on a Plane, if not worse!
Interesting, might give it a whirl and see what the sites all about.
Glad to see they dropped the subscription fee. It really puts me off when I see a game that needs a subscription to play it. We pay enough for broadband without these fees adding to our monthly bills.
Being a PS3 owner I am quite envious of some 360 games like Gears of War. But unfortunately there's not enough room under the TV for an Xbox as well as my PS3 and Wii. I was delighted when I found out Mass Effect 2 was coming to PS3, which I'm sure was enough to set off another fanboy war. Anyone that follows a console like some religious fanatic is simply immature, and they need to chill out. Just enjoy the games people!
I can see MS making dramatic increases in the future, as people can't do without the service. I find it shocking that they charge in the first place, as we already fork out near £20 a month for broadband, which is only just good enough for online play. If Activision start charging for COD I'll move full time to Battlefield, which is a lot more fun anyway.
I never knew about this problem at all. Time to act and let companies know how we feel about this, and hopefully bring an end to this terrible trade.
So many ideas and yet developers still give us the tried and tested. Come on give us some fresh experiences!
About bloody time! This will be a Godsend to MMO gaming on PC's
Yeah I agree with you Scruffy, if you spend vast sums of cash and are new to PSN then it would be quite tempting. But if you've already spent loads then the chances are that half of the content that is on offer you've already bought, which defeats the purpose of the whole concept.
I think Dinosaurs have been underused in gaming. From memory, Dino Crisis was the last decent game that they starred in. Turok was the only other one I can think of and was pretty poor. It shows a lack of imagination from developers, who seem to be shackled into yearly updates to current franchises, which is a dangerous precedent to set.
I'd never heard of the anime, but this looks pretty good.
Makes sense I suppose. As there doesn't seem like there's much on there for PSN+ members at the minute. Half the stuff folk have already downloaded, which must stick in their throats.
It's such a shame the Wii and DS have succumbed to the wave of shovelware forced upon them. And even worse that folk are buying these (so called) games! Games like Super Mario Galaxy 2 show what can be done with a little tlc. But only Nintendo seem to be ploughing that furrow alone.
I've only got one platinum trophy, and I've got too many games to play through to spend the time earning more. Just being able to finish a game these days is an achievement!
Good article. I think most games companies shy away from using religion in games due to the many fanatics out there, who think that the game is an attack on their religion. I'm just waiting on the backlash from the forthcoming new Medal of Honor game which features the Taliban.
Glad to see that the game will be more accessible. Hopefully that will attract new players.
Let's at least try to make a difference. Something needs to be done.
When I was at school there wasn't even any way of getting into games development. Which is something I would've been very interested in. Oh well back to magazine design it is then!
Great to see the franchise take to the skys. Hopefully it will make the game less linear and make it less of a rehash of the first game, that Bioshock 2 was. With Levine back, I've high hopes for this game.
