That is very sad to hear.. I loved Rime on Switch and played Deadlight and Gylt on Steamdeck which were both solid and enjoyable games..

Also heard good news about Song of Nunu.

I was hoping they could revive the Egypt based game they announced years ago before being acquired by Stadia but was cancelled.

I wish the developers find a home somewhere else as the talent is there

No Porsche Challenge? Also I think that Twisted Metal is not in the list (perhaps I missed it?). In any case these lists are subjective.

Well with the exception of Zelda and Xenoblade Chronicles series, Nintendo first party games are usually less demanding (see Arms, Nintendo sports series 2d kirby + mario games, Mario sports series, Warioware, Mario Party etc).

Zelda doesnt even have voice acting for its characters most of the time and its games use simpler textures than lets say Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us, Gears of War 5 etc which means that the development costs are lower.

Even so, ...

This in my opinion is one of the best Halo games (Alongside 1 and Reach). It introduced the prophets, you could play an elite which was awesome, dual handling SMG, amazing graphics for its time on original Xbox and so many more.

The city levels had flat textures and streaming issues but the assault on the Temple with the ODST team was an unforgettable experience. I still remember how detailed the buildings covered with moss and grass were like and the water element in the t...

There is a rumour that Driver 1 & 2 remasters will be released for Switch and presumably for other systems as well.

Not sure however whether this results into new games in the near future.

I agree and I hope Switch 2 will allow them to better manifest their vision through games using more powerful hardware even it is lagging behind current gen consoles.

Imagine a Zelda or Xenoblade Chronicles game with PS4 power level graphics (which probably means a beatifuly realized world with better AI and more detail density and even more complex mechanics) enhanced by DLSS and better loading times.

During Switch gen we saw some thought experiments by ...

Persona Series remasters becoming multi platform help Sega boost sales and they admitted as much back in 2022.

That was a sad one story wise. I agree that this one is actually worth it if you like walking simulators and compared to his other works which felt more generic and lifeless. This and The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna stand out

@MrDead1 $75 billion spent and for much more that COD IP (Diablo, Overwatch Guitar Hero, Skylanders, Spyro, Tony Hawk's, Diablo, Hearthstone, Overwatch, StarCraft, World of Warcraft, and Candy Crush Saga to name but a few)

Candy Crush Saga generated in 2023 nearly 1 billion in revenue which means that MS will tap into this as well (total revenue-not profits- for Activision/Blizzard in 2023 was at 8,70 billions)

Besides each for each COD sale on PS5...

While I will be getting this at some point for my daughter to introduce her to this series, it is disappointing to hear that the game has so many issues, especially in performance.

Switch really needs a replacement asap.

The only idiotic thing I see here is your persistence on the issue on who's at fault for MS falling to which i did not argue. In fact I have already talked about it twice in my comments and I was against their monopoly's attempt back when it was the hot topic of discussion.

My point is about all those who wish MS out of the hardware market thus leaving Sony as the sole competitor in the space.

But dont worry, when Sony remains the sole player in ...

@Chevalier I am clearly referencing the numerous times Sony fans have been calling for MS to become a publisher as it has only damaged the console market as they continuously say. This is evident from numerous content on the comment sections throughout this time.

The irony is that while they claimed that MS could become a monopoly by acquiring publishers (which I also believe that would happen if MS was left unchecked), they also see no issue for MS becoming a third party p...

I saw some gameplay videos and this one really nails the atmosphere. I generally dont play point and click games unless they are well made with horror elements (like Saint Kotar), however this one picqued my interest.

You hypocrites need to decide at some point.

You continuously preach that MS should leave the console market to become a third party publisher and leave the market to Sony who does not directly compete to Nintendo thus creating a monopoly but this time for Sony.

You either hate monopolies or not.

MS move on activision was wrong for so many reasons. That does not mean that we should replace MS with Sony and leave the market to one play...

@potatoseal Sony made lots of money from CoD before MS spent 70 billion on this deal. The difference is that now MS also profits from the sales on PS5(much more than simply getting a cut from selling through its store) in addition to having other IPs from Activision/Blizzard/King thrown into the mix.

Those 70 billion usd bought much more which was why I was against the acquisition from the very beginning.
