I'm pretty sure you missed the point. First off , yes many would be willing to shift because their brand loyalty is shallow. In other words they only get PlayStation because they've always ever gotten PlayStation. That would change quickly the moment they realize some of the expected franchises would skip PlayStation in favor for Xbox. Especially something like starfield from Bethesda and call of duty.

Wouldn't say that the game is uninspired...it just isn't finished. Generic ai, generic guns mostly, generic world. They have the idea, the concept, the lore...it's all there. But they just didn't accomplish anything with it.
Spideman 2 is a PS5 game. Final fantasy is a square enix game.
And on that note starfield was likely planned for PS5 until good ol Phil decided to make it more accessible to gamers everywhere by making it less accessible to gamers everywhere.p
Your own fault for wasting money on trash games. I didn't spend $70 on either of those. Instead I spent $60 on Ragnarok.
I also upgraded to ps extra for meager amounts to get access for over a year and it gets me ghostwire as well. Spent less than what I would've on gamepass and also got to beat Stray.
Yeah I'd rather be more specific with my spending and make sure I get quality titles for my money.
That's not even the worst part. Phil himself stated they don't really plan and raising the quality of games. Phil talks of the vision of a game as if it's the determining factor in quality...it's not.

Imagine a world where people arent actually passionate about gaming and therefore never have strong ass feelings about games failing...this shit comes with the territory. Just like youll have people gushing over how good a game is youll also have the opposite end of that spectrum.

Great games is what makes a generation memorable. If you have great games on one platform and nothing on the other then that other platform is not memorable and is not a great console to own during that generation.

Exactly my point. Those things don't make sense. No effort was made to realize the vision they had for it. Probably, based on some new reports, because Microsoft pulled the majority of the team away to work on a different project.
