The purple colors. The silly looking characters. The typical cover shooting. The horrible premise. The rich only get richer....let's start stealing from them cuz the poor only get poorer. And this coming from a greedy live service concept.
Helldivers 2 is the only one I was at all interested in...mainly cuz at first I thought it was starship troopers

An /10 score is not the same as an /5
An /10 has a bunch of silly numbers that don't mean much or differentiate from each other.
Think of numbers 1-5. From an outside perspective all those numbers mean bad, broken, not enjoyable, etc. There's only weak arguments that can try to defend a game being a 2/10 vs. 3/10...therefore in an /10 rating there's a massive curve towards the higher ratings.

However, since then they've made some good games. Control being a prime example. I think it looks like a vast improvement from back then.
My brain might explode. Not even because of the ridiculousness but mostly because modern tv is just so bad.

Fable, perfect dark, state of decay 3, avowed ..just these alone are enough...and we haven't actually seen anything since they were announced years ago.

I tell Xbox fans the same thing that now I got to tell my own base. We should always expect the best from the companies that we support. When Xbox shows nothing time and time again and always tells you to wait till next year you need to let them know that that's not acceptable as a console platform. Internet is not jumping the gun we're just not being hypocritical. Nobody is claiming that PlayStation will stop selling or that Xbox is going to start selling a lot. That's irrelevant from the subject. Even if Microsoft does an incredible showcase it's not going to make them sell more than PlayStation. That is already known. It doesn't stop their games from Shining and giving them an opportunity to impress
What Xbox has done in the last decade or more is already well established and known. What they do moving forward is not yet known. They have an opportunity to blow gamers away with their showcase especially with the poor showing from PlayStation.
Get your fanboy crap out of here. If the showcase is good...which it better be given all the purchases and how long we've had to wait to see anything meaningful from Xbox...then that's good for gamers. Good games is good for gaming...not for a particular fanbase.
Starfield is the least I'm excited for from the showcase.
