I still remember how those journalists were complaining about ghost of tsushima. It's funny that now we know that because of that game a lot more Japan or Asian inspired games will be coming to the West that I guess in their western eyes will better portray those cultures.
Huh and how many titles successful titles did insomniac make that weren't 1st party. Compare that with all the titles from pretty much every dev that Microsoft bought.

Insomniac was already a 1st party dev without being owned. They had already invested lots on that studio...it was a natural and expected purchase many years before the buyout.

It does suck that with the Bethesda deal and this one they've gobbled up a bunch of already established talent.

You want to remove the one thing that gave them the success and ability to do what you want them to put in other platforms which would have not given them the success they have today.
Well I think considering the majority of the world plays on PlayStation instead of Xbox I can see how this deal would be a problem. If call of duty which sells more on PlayStation suddenly becomes exclusive at any point it removes an option for all PlayStation gamers across the globe that they've had for years. It also removes a pretty significant revenue stream that PlayStation has had for years as well.
Lots of questionable reviews for this game. Many of which mention skin color for some reason. I'm sure that had nothing at all to do with being happy with the game. Prey Moon crash is a better execution and it's just a DLC
Not at all. The game was hyped because it's an arcane game. When it released the hype dropped because the game isn't that good.
It's the same deal with starfield. Hype is dropping because the game doesn't look that good.

Yeah let's forget about spiderman 2 and wolverine. Let's also forget about how awesome returnal was and ghosts of Tsushima which were made by 2 devs supposedly twiddling their thumbs.
Yet. As much as I hate tlou1 remake price point and the discussion of a remake necessity played out...this goldeneye game deserved a real remake. That's the difference...at least Sony puts effort to improvements. Upscaling isn't much.

Big difference between buying Pokemon cards and loot boxes. The major one is control. Pokemon cards are sold in stores and kids need to ask their parents for a pack. If they don't get the cards they want oh well better luck next time at the store. Loot boxes allow digital purchasing withing a media directed at children. Parents who aren't fully aware of what can happen will find that their children can just hit that purchase button all they want. Believe...

It's a monopoly in gaming development. There aren't many other well known and established 3rd party publishers after purchasing all of zenimax and if the deal goes through all of EA activision.
