This is tlou part 1 fault. As I suspected now we get overpriced remakes. No remake should be more expensive than the already expensive original release. They also added some kind of MTX....completely undeserved.
But it likely won't keep going like this. Just saying.
@thesoftware
Console wars? There's no war. They're each doing their own thing.
You're hell bent on something but I assume you must have some kind of grudge. Don't take it out on me buddy.
Yes exclusives matter. Yes new IP matters. Unless you don't think God of war, the last of us, Bayonetta, 3d Zelda, 3d pokemon and countless other new takes and new IP should've existed. Demons souls, Titanfall, path of exile,......
@neutral
Because other devs are constantly doing what cyberpunk did once under enormous pressure. And they've already been bashed.
Agreed. It is strange they nothing has been announced yet. We know wolverine is in the works and I'm sure sucker punch is working on something as well as days gone devs. It's been a while since anything from them too. I'm betting tlou 2 multiplayer will release next year as well..
Yet to finish?
I understand failing to finish a long and large open world game. But this is singleplayer 8-12 hour game.
So you think Sony is going to release only 1 triple A game in 2023....that would be a first in ever...I think.
@fairmount
Umm so hypothetically let's assume their loyal fan base leaves Sony because they didn't care...what do you think happens to their bottom line when millions leave?
If sony ignores their fanbase and tries to compete purely on money alone they will fail. Microsoft has more money. If sony drops their games day 1 on PC then I no longer need a PlayStation and therefore won't stay in their ecosystem. That's not good for them.
Just and unjust wars acheive nothing but mass killings.
War crimes are committed in every single war by all sides. It's a matter of whether or not they're caught.
@thesoftware
Yes exclusives matter but also do new IP. That's where Nintendo kinda fails to remain relevant in the sense of the games discussion. We all know their exclusives are very good. We also know a lot of parents who wouldn't own any console will buy Nintendo products for their children. You also must really really enjoy the few exclusives they release because there's nothing else that you will enjoy on that console as much as you would on either the Xbox...
Well Nintendo is ignored mostly because they aren't the best place to play 98% of games. 2% being their exclusives which are great.
Not yet. It's only growing. And Xbox will hit a brick wall around 30million.
@orchard
He disagrees with your comment which doesn't mention disabled individuals and then you backfire with the accusation of him not liking the disabled playing games...what a classy shitty move.
Blizzard is on its way out. Their games are no longer the magic they used to be. MTX poison spreads everywhere I guess. I'm more pissed about the already established zenimax buyout. Now those were talented studios with good games. Activision blizzard is a sinking ship that stays afloat because of cod and battlefield.
@optimus
At least there's a large group of PlayStation fans complaining about that issue. And as far as I recall...that's just one this year.
You guys don't complain about anything and j was an Xbox fan during 360 and early one days so I know the heart breaking feeling for sure. There were only so many wait till next year announcements I could take.
PS5 is 6 million ahead or so.

To each his own but I thought i was clear. In every instance the price shouldn't affect the review score of a product. Devs and companies can be greedy and ask for more than a product is worth. The point is that each game should be reviewed by its own merits not whatever price tag the finance department or marketing puts on it.
I thought i was also clear that it can be mentioned but shouldn't affect the quality of the game. If we are to j...
No real critic should care about the price in a review. They can mention it but it should not add or detract points.
The hate the game has gotten for the price point is legitimate. Imagine a movie that released years ago, rereleased at a premium price with only special effect improvements. All else staying the same. Yeah people should complain about that. $70 for a game is as premium as it gets right now.
Yes. They're an indie developer during the entirety of the witcher saga. They only became mainstream because of the open world fetish people have.
Nope. That's your take. I'm pissed this is happening with remakes. It's gross how much they seek to take advantage of the fanbase.
Remakes should be $40 tops. I gave shit to tlou part 1 and I give shit to this one. Some people can't manage to keep their stories straight though.
