And even on previous Xbox consoles.

Exclusive means exclusive. Narrative are narratives. Biases are biases. We should call them out when they're clearly there. Issue with the comment section is you can't be writing paragraphs explaining your full position so a lot of smarty pants will try to claim that you have double standards when you don't. So not a narrative in many cases but a more nuanced or defined position that many on the other side will fail to ...
You're easily fooled. PS3 outsold the 360 by a lot and actually had tons of exclusives. 360 numbers were inflated due to the rings issue.
Not to mention they already got doom, Wolfenstein, prey, dishonored, evil within, older scrolls, fallout and starfield now. Along with some smaller titles that many were looking forward to on the PlayStation side.
It was big enough to have purchased zenimax but now with this it's just ridiculous.
Umm. We're talking about video games ...not generic tech term.
In video games they just gobbled up zenimax and almost EA and Activision. These are some of the biggest publisher with tons of employees and resources.
In the meantime Sony, as usual is purchasing single developer teams.
@darth
You assume that gamers as whole side on one side over another due to exclusives. In Europe PlayStation is more popularity due to renown not necessarily its exclusives. If cod disappears from PlayStation so will a steady 5-10million players. There are many gamers out there that play only sports and cod or cod like games. Those people make up the majority. That majority will move to a console with the game they want... especially one as consistently successful in that ...
Well considering it's by far one of if not the best looking open world game I'm sure they could push it even further in more linear games.
Nope. It won't. Let's see what they actually do vs what they say. For now due to the lack of supply and economy issues it makes sense that live service games may be cross gen but I'm 100% sure this won't be the case once PS5 numbers reach 40-50million sold through.
@porkchop
Agreed. He may be dishonest but I stopped listening to PR a long time ago. At the end of the day actions and outcomes matter. Genuineness would be welcomed for sure but I care about the results more than the talk.
@thedibbler
Yes leadership is what can deliver great games and has great dev and talent retention. This is common sense. Outside of that we have companies that can deliver the games. Microsoft can't seem to do that. No matter the time or money.
I wasn't bothered by the remake of tlou part 1. I was bothered by the price. Will likely grab the game when j have nothing at all to play and the game is at 20$
Exactly. Sony PlayStation has flaws. They aren't some idol of perfection like what Xbox fans try to make Phil but in the gaming industry they're definitely doing a bang up job giving us new and exciting games every single generation.
Xbox has just been trying to catch waves and it doesn't seem that will stop anytime soon. I do wonder what Sony will do to try to get the type of games from all those Bethesda studios.
All the money Xbox has spen...
Except that with Microsoft purchases all these up that were available in every platform will now be available in less platforms. So they're being completely dishonest. It's less accessible. Sony buying studios that were already acting as strong first party support isn't anywhere in the same boat or planet.
Turbulent because if upper managements mishandling of the entire process. It was a good game at its core from the start but needed more time baking.
I think it's awesome that this isn't some pathetic senseless click and get points kind of attempt at a reward system. One of the challenges is an actual puzzle which is great
Nobody is asking for handouts here. Some just want their intelligence and money respected.
It's not about supporting a hobby. It's about greed. That's all. This is a remake not a new game. They're taking advantage of a another company being assholes to their fanbase and decided they could do it too.
No thumbs down for me. I prefer not to be financially abused by companies. To each his own.
Exactly. Sony has started a bad trend.
Except there are MTX on this also
When I hear exclusive I still want to know if it's actually exclusive. I never gave Xbox a pass when they released theirs on PC...not gonna flip flop and give PlayStation a pass either.
Exclusive literally means not available anywhere but in the platform it's exclusive on. The term console exclusive is a midway term used to try to appease those looking for actual exclusives. Xbox has none. PlayStation still has a few for now. We'll see this generation if it even...
