But look at sales of Spiderman 3, Transformers, Madden 08, Nba Live 08 and just about any other game available on other platforms. It gets outsold by the ps3 version by about 3 to 1. While the 360 version usually outsells it by around 10 to 1. Orange Box, Call of Duty 4, Rockband, Assasin's Creed and UT 3. The biggest 3rd party games this holiday season. Where's the Wii version of these games? Oh thats...

Good for you. BTW that "bigger fanbase" don't buy games outside of Nintendo ones. Every 3rd party multiplat game has done piss poor on the wii. Sad fact is none of the top independent developers want to touch the system. It will continue to get crap games made by mostly crap developers forced into projects by mega corporations. If those are the kind of games you want then ROCK ON!
But its Nintendo's dumb down hardware for profit philsophy in effect again. We saw it when DQ 9 went to DS. Instead of a next gen sequel we get more of the same. But hey you people who buy Nintendo systems this is what you asked for. I just hope you can live with the results. I would love to gloat and say I was right just like when people elected Bush to a 2nd term. But in the end we all suffer the results.
The ps3 is on life support after 10 months on the market??! Wow, I guess we should only play football for the first period and concede the game to whoever is up. I'm not saying the ps3 wont eventually flop but for anyone to call it this early is plain stupid. And you know he's just trying to rile people up when he compares it to the Sega Saturn which sold 1.5 million units over 3 years in the US. A number the ps3 passed in about 8 months.
There are like 10-20 people that defend all things wii but thats about it. No one else really cares. You'll rarely see any wii news get over 30 comments no matter what it is.

Home is free and completely optional. Don't like it? Don't use it. Unlike the 360 dash where you are constantly assaulted by ads that you can't turn off. Whats the point of having wallpaper or themes when they are severely obscured by ads for burgers and Best Buy.
I now wish I would have waited. Sony could have done something to compensation early adopters like give them some free blu-ray movies. They wouldn't have cost Sony much and I'm sure we would have appreciated the gesture. But hey this is business and they need to get more units out.

1. The RROD wasn't the biggest Mistake this gen. It was the shady way MS tried to handle it and sweep it under the rug while screwing its customers.

Seems like some people are gonna need to buy a usb hub. 1 to charge the controller. 1 for keyboard and mouse combo (or both slots taken up if wired). No room left to plug in a thumb drive (which probably becomes even more important since it doesn't have flash card readers). Not that I care too much I got a 60 gb. Just wondering about the reasoning behind it.

Thats the major advantage for me.
Its Halo 2 in two-thirds-HD. They had 3 years to work on the game there is no excuse to run in 640p and to have it letter boxed like a PSP game in Co-op mode.

But most people that play the game with an objective mind would score it an 8-8.5. The 9.5 to 10's it got was ridiculous in my opinion. Call of Duty 4 will own that game badly.

For the $600 we paid. I love the flash card readers. They make it so convenient for watching tv shows in linux off SD cards and memory sticks. I guess the 40 gigers can buy usb card readers but it will suck up 1 of the 2 precious usb ports.
Leave it to great devs to prove the hacks wrong. However I didn't hear the magic word "co-op" in the preview. Does anyone know for sure if it includes split screen or online co-op?
