But hurry up and get a rumble patch in Sony. I can't believe it shipped without it...
or will people continue to happily line up to give Nintendo their money.
Is that MS compares everything they do to Sony. Sony for the most part has shifted its PR stance and talks only about the Playstation brand of consoles and how they are doing (similar to what Nintendo does). Its almost as if MS is the little brother always seeking the respect of the older brother Sony. Kinda sad when MS constantly has some quote about beating Sony when they are both getting their butts kicked by Nintendo.
Wii fit will do nothing except maybe help their stabilizing muscles. They could get the same "work out" standing and trying to keep their balance while taking the bus.
Like the Ratchet and Clank theme. Btw I'd rather take a one picture theme over a 3 picture theme with ads plastered all over it. But what would be cool is if Sony allowed for more then one picture set to wallpaper and allow them to randomly appear.
Played the 2nd one but never the first.
This report was actually pretty fair. At least Fox did some more research before opening their mouths this time.
Worst I've ever heard...
They held 1 GB of data. They were not dvd discs. But yeah stupid article. 360 isn't even present proof. My first one only lasted 8 months. It should be categorized as a disposable console if anything.
So it is pretty new. No older then 7-8 months using the supposedly improved motherboard. And this is why I'm getting my GTA 4 for the PS3. GTA 4 is a sandbox game like Dead Rising which is constantly streaming data but on a much larger scale. This game will probably push the 360 as hard as any game that has come out for it. I'm sick of these RRODs and read disc errors (which I got 3 or 4 times playing though Dead Rising and having to go back to the previous save) bullcrap. But good luck...
No, I read that and no where does it say it was a scientific study. Just because a company calls itself blah blah Research and releases a "report" does not mean they conducted a scientific study with a control group in a controlled environment. The fact that they have analysts on their payroll means that they are probably a financial "research" company not a scientific one.
This wasn't a study. It was the opinion of an analyst. The linked article makes it sound like it was a scientific study when its just the opinion of some analysts.
I'd say they are mostly younger men between 18-34. Yes the 18-22 range are broke as a joke but the 23-34 age group usually have a lot of disposable income. Unless of course they get married. Then they can spend about as much as 18-22 year olds without getting yelled at.
I don't think they have much credibility as a hard reviewer though.
GTA is a sandbox game that is constantly accessing data from the disc like Dead Rising did. Which would lead to more disc read errors as well as more heat building up in the box. I remember when Dead Rising came out and there was a rash of "Dead Rising killed my 360" articles. I would expect the same next week and the weeks that follow. I personally had 4 or 5 disc read error freezes while playing through Dead Rising on my original 360 that red-ringed about 4 months later.
Thats what like 2% more? The margin of error for a good poll is 3% which is what NPD data is, just a poll of some retailers. They are really bragging about nothing. Its is kind of sad. But I admit the 360 version of GTA 4 is the version to get IF you are already paying for Live AND you have confidence that your 360 won't crap out during a 50 hr game. My answer to both of those questions is no.
And blame it on the lack of 80gb models the day before the data was released to the public. Anyway April numbers should be interesting.
I was hoping they would have a deal on both maps. Not bad as it comes out to $6 each now.
Force people to buy the ridiculously overpriced 120 gb drive to play it. Wouldn't really surprise me.
But my email, news, finance traffic always goes to yahoo. Bad news for yahoo shareholders though. Expect that stock to plummet on Monday.
