I still have 3 Original PS3s with full hardware backward compatibility and even I know to back my shit up. I replaced the drive with a 500GB that I remove twice a year and copy a back up of to another drive in my Desktop. I'd be pissed if I were him too but he should have known better.
I didn't realize the music service was free with ads every 15 minutes. I just assumed it was a fully paid service so I never even looked at it. Smart Glass is going to be pretty neat but I suspect more gimmicky for the first while
I've been on the Beta for the new update for a while now - It's not bad...it's certainly not great though. I don't know if this is just a Beta issue but so far I've found that every time MS releases an update for the Beta, ALL installed apps need to be reinstalled and that's more than a little inconvenient.

I have all 3 systems - I find the Online aspect to Xbox 360 to be far superior to what Sony has to offer but the PS3 is a very powerful system that was using some very cutting edge technology. The main reason games always seemed to look better on Xbox is because noone really "Got" how to properly code for the Cell architecture. Now they're getting it. In some degree it's a bummer that he's decided to leave. He's helped make some great games, and been a great steward of gaming and gaming culture. On the other hand he always struck me as something of an arrogant prick with his "Rock star - like persona. I wish him well in his endeavours but won't miss seeing or hearing from him for a while.

I love my fair share of Sony exclusive titles and all but this game is so far away from my list of games to get it's not even funny. In fact, if I saw it in a $5 clearance bin at Walmart (which I predict just may happen in short order), I'll probably hang onto it as a "Maybe" and see if something else is in the pile of game shame before opting to go with this one.
Anyone care to post the list here so the rest of us aren';t subjected to some lame excuse for 15 different clicks on this page?
