I experienced a few of those glitches last week and was more than a little annoyed. Glad to see it's been fixed.
Don't like QTE? Might want to avoid Assassins Creed 3 then. There are some QTE in that game.
For me, Resident Evil 4 is the worst game in the series followed closely by 5.
I can't see what Cliff "Needs More Cover Based Gun Play" Bleszinski can bring to the table for this title. If Capcom wants to fix it they need only to look at what made the series so successful. Tension building atmosphere. The closest thing to Resident evil that they've released in the last few years was Leon's campaign in RE6. The rest of them were action titles. not survival horror in the least.
Get away from the lame corporate scheming and all the ra...
Some minor technical glitches but I found them easy to overlook for the most part. Naval missions are SWEET! and the story is awesome.
It's one hell of a game too.
HAHAHA!
Probably the trolliest of all troll comments I've read in a long time. Still funny though.
I didn't hate the game like so many seem to be hating on it but a 5/5 it's not. At best...VERY BEST, it's a 3.5 but even that might be a bit of a stretch. Campaign was short, story was generic, levels were fairly generic too. Honestly haven't had much time to play online because AC3 wound up in my mailbox yesterday so now I'm just eating that up.
That's one area the PS3 has failed miserably. Mandatory installs are so common place on that system and it sucks.
Hows about bigger more interactive interactive enviroments, Cloud gaming on Tablet/Cell Phones, 3D environment mapping allowing for a more "VR" type experience, User created content (ie: maps, custom skins etc...) and most importantly, more innovative and interesting franchises.
Looks like I can now save $15 per month on the channel package that gives me this channel. It's really too bad because I quite enjoyed those shows. I had a feeling something was up when Adam, Olivia and Kevin all left within a short span of time of one another. Good luck to all who lost their job on this absolutely bogus decision by G4.
On a side note, this is someone else's opportunity to pick up that ball and run with it to make other shows similar with the same peo...
Well done post - I forgot so many of the earlier details. Thanks for the refresher.
Are there also comics/novels that go deeper into some of the finer details?
Point well taken - I like where you're coming from on this. One point for you sir
WOAH WOAH WOAH!
I love the assassins Creed series. I really do but saying it's one of the greatest games ever made is far too bold a statement to make. I don't disagree with the statements made here about what makes the game so good, nor do I dispute that it probably belongs on the top 100 list but of all time? I'm struggling with the all time statement
.
He's just trying to stay relevant during his little "Staycation". Probably wasn't feeling the love of all his adoring fans stroking his **ahem** ego the last few weeks.
Well freaking said man. Bubs up for the most intelligent comment I've read here in a very long time.
Thank-You sir. It's one of those rare titles that so many don't know a thing about and I for one would kill to see it relaunched. Another great title was Rise of the Dragon. Along the same sort of lines as Snatcher in the atmosphere and story telling method but I loved that game.
Funnily enough I still own both of those games and am now thinking an old school gaming weekend is in order sooner than later.
I agree with the RDR ending. I was shocked to see how that all played out. Was freaking incredible.
HAHAH! Fuck you 1942. That cracked me up.
It's not a bad list you have here but I would have to say that FF7 or X were incredibly awesome game endings that should have had a spot on your list. Lunar 2 and Snatcher are extremely high on my list.
The game itself is in fact a 9. Easily. The minor glitches, while annoying if you experience them, do NOT break the game to the point that it should be getting 5s. In fact the game has such a good story and great new features, that it's easier to forgive.
At least with XBL or PSN, if a game has glitches, they can fix them and you're not stuck with it like it was back in the day.
