Just a hunch here but I'm guessing the jackass comments that go against what other people say just for the sake of being a pain in the ass is what earned you a single bubble.
Patterson talks too much some times but he's not wrong. There's never been anyone who actually works in the industry on a panel to discuss this alleged "issue" of games breeding violence.
Total BS. Bunch of morons running G4.
The statement of making a game's single player campaign what you pay for and the Multiplayer aspect a "Subscription service is one of the most goddamn stupid things I've heard. That would be suicide for anyone launching an established franchise let alone a new and unproven one.
I got news for the gaming world...There's no such thing as a "AAA racing title".
Good luck selling that product to parents with children.
HAHAHHAH! yea except I foresee that model fast going the way of the Do Do Bird with DCD (Digital Content Delivery) systems much like how Blockbuster died.
that would be nice but Gamefly isn't here in Canada
I don't get everything day one unless it's a big title that I know I absolutely have to have. The ones that I wait for are the games I'm interested in but can wait for them and will go and get them once all the triple A titles are done.
I actually have a list of shame this year because I can't seem to find enough time to finish them and there are so bloody many.
These guys that crack protections on consoles, DVD etc etc are sharp dudes. Can't help but wonder what they do for work in real life using their obviously incredible talents for the greater good somewhere.
Ya clearly it won't ever extend to piracy.
***facepalm***
I sure as hell hope not. As someone who buys between 20-30 games a year I think I spend enough money on games. If the prices increase, I'll begin to be much choosier and buy only AAA titles.
I found a potentially awesome site Android users filled with some of the best ROMS I've seen.
I've actually got Lunar 1 and 2, Popful Mail for Sega CD and I think I bought Vay on ebay and packed it up somewhere. Perhaps this Christmas season is a good time to get balls deep into a retro gaming marathon.
One of the greatest JRPGs of all time. Sure wish they'd make a 3rd in the series. Working Designs had some incredible software.
I'm more interested in Egypt or maybe even Ancient Greece
My nipples got rock hard reading and seeing this article.
Happy Thanks giving to all you crazy Murican folks. Please eat lots of turkey for us Canadian folk.
Is it just my browser acting up or is the post rather screwy for you guys too?
I understand why they want to implement something like this but currently, it's not something that users are going to be OK with. The gamers will turn their back on Sony rather quickly if they were to make this a reality. What they need to do is just suck it up for the time being and then worry about what the next iteration of the marketplace will look like.
My guess is most everything will be a cloud based service and then users will be able to post their used games up ...
