I've spent the last few days playing it a lot. My biggest issue is, I was an inward drifter and they got rid of it, for no real reason at all. And the drifting feels unsatisfying, clunkier and more floaty compared to 8 for me personally, it doesn't feel as tight and responsive. I've gotten more used to it and I am enjoying it, but Mario Kart 8 is just more fun to play imo.

Id be willing to bet as many as 90-95% of those sales are PS5 and steam, I think Doom had more going against that just gamepass, all things considered.

So what's your point exactly? Every event/showcase or whatever has always featured lots of 3rd party content, for example with microsoft now, everything they show is technically 3rd party content, given their tentpole releases are going to PS5 now.
Don't see how that's possible as MS are now teetering on the edge of being a full blown 3rd party publisher, and every game they show will most likely be coming to PS5 and possibly some for the switch 2.
No Marvel Tokon (xdev working with arc sys) or Nioh 3 (Sony publishing like with 1 and 2) on Xbox.
I put 100s of hours in to Nioh 1, and then the same with Nioh 2 during covid lockdowns lol. I want it.

Well, most consoles libraries over the year consist of mostly 3rd party games from publishers, since MS is fully embracing being a full blown 3rd party publisher now, it's no different that capcom, EA and others releasing games on playstation really imo.
