Funny how you spin this. Jim Ryan, despite my many misgivings for him, left PS when they were going strong but was 'forced out' according to you. Phil makes an absolute mess of Xbox this whole gen and most of the X1 gen, leaving at by far it's lowest point, but he wasn't forced out, sure lol.

How was this allowed to happen? A studio know for excellent remakes and remasters were put on a GOW live service game? Something nobody wanted? There are so many other, more interesting projects, for me they were the prime studio who should have remastered or remade Bloodborne, what an absolute waste, I'm really annoyed about this.

This is a shocking disgrace, the Ryan and Hulst era won't be remembered fondly with their crappy live service push. They gave use the excellent SOTC and Demons Souls remake, surely they could have at least been put on a Bloodborne remake or remaster? But they get put on GOW live service slop?

I'd be lying if I said I didn't regret my purchase a bit. I mainly bought it for Mario Kart World, but I find it pales in comparison to 8. I'm annoyed that Nintendo charged money for a super barebones 'upgrade' to Jamboree, no new minigames? No new boards? Just some gimmicky low res camera mode. Oh and Midtroid Prime 4 let me down as well, yet to go back and finish it.

The Japan sales for switch 2 are crazy, sold more there than NA and Europe.
PS5 still showing strong legs, will continue to do well I think in 2026 being basically the defacto high end console now, and will get an inevitable GTA boost, I expect the switch 2 will continue to sell strongly if course, really hoping for a 3D mario reveal this year, hope they also add the GC mario party games, would love that.

Declines in america are not too surprising with general economic woes, inept tariff nonsense from the orange dictator in the white house, and with those consoles being at the end of the 5th years on the market, PS5 just sold an absolute crap load in Europe, Switch 2's are flying off Japanese shelves, America isn't the whole world.
