Congrats to anyone who stills has a launch unit working even though there will now be a big increase in sales depending on how many launch consoles are left due to them dieing out of warranty. ;)
Halo at best was a good launch game for the original xbox.
How many here were dissapointed by halo 2 and well Halo 3 was pretty average for a so called next gen system.
Angelina is average but Megan is very nice. :)
SHIIIIIIIIIT if after detucting the total 360 consoles that have died and been replaced or refurbished and the unlucky sods who end up buying a 2nd , 3rd or 4th cause there problems were not RROD related and they were out of warranty.
SHIIIIIT maybe not in the lead over Nintendo but 2nd place probally spot on.
LOL yeah well I'm still having hell of a better time on my ps3 , still thrashing WarHawk which is the best balanced online game and damn my ps3 is already passing the 4 360's life span that I had and oh saving geeze we already no the 360 is in critical condition on life support in someones living room or repair shop.... oh no we lost another one (RROD) send my condolences to the family. ;)
I prefer regular update when needed to fix a glitch or like the recent 2.60 add a good new feature.
Unlike any fixes the 360 needs you have to wait till there seasonal bug fix or upgrade so it's come on baby just another month to go oh crap RROD or another issue pops its ugly head like the E74 issues going around of late.
OH have fun I did it 3 times and after that I went over to the Darkside (PS3) and so upset it hasn't broken down yet.;)
mmmmmm drooooools
Well since PS3 is region free just import :)
Yeah have to agree with there only ambition was to hurt sony by being first out of the gate.
They have probally hurt themselves more in the longer term as after 4 dead 360's of my own I feel confident in saying a few more people out there feel like me and wont be so eager to purchase there next machine when it launches.
Microsoft have alot of sucking up to do to regain what little trust and respect if any with there next attempt unless of course shareholders say ...
Will see.
If the next Xbox system is a flop it will be due to the legacy of the dodgy 360.
How many will jump in early to another microsoft console after been burnt more than once in some cases.
i'm still waiting for the xbox 360 to get out of hardware beta testing.
ROFLMAO.... damn Sony's Home will be out of Beta Testing before that ever happens. ;)
GEEEZES some software developers are claiming higher revenue from ps3 sales which isn't surprising once you take of the 20 - 30 percent failure rate of the crapbox 360 then there numbers really ar'nt that far in front if at all even with a 12 month headstart.
my own opinion after 4 dead xbox360's I'm now a happy ps3 owner with no probs thus far.
Microsoft is a public trading company and can get into series crap if they BS the market.
How ever units sold doesn't mean to just us the gaming consumer.
All stores at what ever price they get them at purchase various amounts to stock shelves and replace returned consoles as my local EB seems to do more often than they would like.
If there selling so well I should'nt be able to see pallets sitting idol at another local store (JB Hifi) but lets fac...
the "shoddy" machine is outpacing the super powerfull, super pretty, supper sleek machine. just think about it, if the 360 is shoddy and it is outselling the ps3... just think if the rrod wasnt an ussue. so ownage is still in m$ hands.
----------------------------- ------------------------------- --------
If RROD wasn't an issue plus all other faults with the 360 does anyone think microsoft would have been so desperate to drop the price below the WII... LOL go...
That's the Buzzing noise when it heats up then RROD on ya.;)
Well at least unlike the xbox360 NXE or what ever they call it HOME is voluntary so if u dont want it then delete it.
At least Home isn't forced upon those as a mandatory update(cough360).
LOL MS talking about 2005 geeze how's there tech doin again.
So what about the amount of PS2 people had to buy...?
You do realise PS2 had loads of failures too untill they improved it just like MS did.
Least did'nt take Sony 3 years to fix there early issues and the new jasper is yet to prove itself.
Will see in a few months.
I did after 4 dud 360's.
Just put my 360 games up on ebay and sold em all.
I got my ps3 after reading the riot act to Microsoft and got a refund on the 4th dud once they discovered there in house policies can't override a country's consumer laws and have been happy ever since.
The crap conditional policies Microsoft place on retailers in regards to refunds is unmoral and I dare say Illegal after I gave the Microsoft rep the phone number to consumer...
