Take your fanboyism ---------->
Kudos to MS and Bungie for really coming through for him. This could have been a total PR nightmare.
It proves that 3rd party titles CAN sell on the Wii, and sell well. Unfortunately, for each of these titles there exists two pieces of shovelware.
Nintendo really needs to tighten quality control when it comes to 3rd party games. More games like the ones listed in the article will help.
For the love of God...
Yes, I'd like this title on my 360...but I wish Ubisoft would quit teasing us and just make up their minds one way or the other!
Cool. I love a good Achievement challenge.
As much as I would like to have this title on my 360, I just wish Ubisoft would make up their minds on console availability.
One guess: The game's costing more to develop than they were anticipating, and making it multi-platform...even with delays for the 360 and PC...would help recoup those costs.
Just a thought.
I bought one of the HD add-ons for my 360...but only when it reached $50, and only for upconversion. If I see an HD movie at a cheap price--say Transformers, or any of the Harry Potter films--I'll grab them, but I have no intention of buying a batch of HD-DVDs.
That said, I wonder if I, as a Best Buy employee, would qualify for the gift card...I mean, the gift card would cover the cost of the player.
I haven't had any problems with my any of my D-pads (four 360 controllers total), but I don't play a lot of games that use it in any capacity.
Otherwise, it's a nearly perfect controller. And I say that having played everything from Atari to NES to Playstation to PC.
Wait for the NPD.
Look at Smash Brothers:
VG: 1.576 million
And there's this: http://kotaku.com/368929/su...
If you're going to fling steaming piles of fanboyism, take it thataway------------>
Do we really need another RRoD article?
The subject has been beaten to death here on N4G, much like what was happening a year ago, when all we were seeing on this site were "death of the PS3" articles when the system was struggling.
I understand that the RRoD is an important issue...I see it as the primary thing holding the 360 back...but we've seen a glut of these articles of late on this site.
Some would argue that it's keeping people aware o...
That's great news. As much as I like Firefox, it's been a total memory hog since I first started using it.
Drooooooooooollllllllllllll...
I think, given the very high stakes this year in the console war, that everyone--Sony, MS, and Nintendo--will save their best for E3.
I think all of us will be in for some pleasant surprises then.
You'll see a North American price cut before GTAIV. No doubt.
Imagine this possibility:
The 360 could end up finishing third in overall consoles sales between all of the new-gen contenders...
...and be number one in software sales.
I'm not saying it WILL happen, only that it's a possibility...I mean, we have no idea what they have up their sleeves in terms of unannounced games or price cuts, and this console war has only been fully underway for less than 18 months...
Just a thought. For the record, I o...
PS2: Great games + reasonable price + established market = Continued success.
Nintendo pwns.
And since I'm seeing a lot more 360s now at area stores than I was a month ago, I'm betting that February will be the last month of supply shortages.
March will be verrrry interesting, indeed....and April more so.
Will we see a 360 price cut in North America before then?
On the surface, this looks like flame-bait...but if you think about it, Sony has a lot going for it this year...but so do MS and Nintendo.
I think a significant resurgence on Sony's part will encourage MS and Nintendo to be more competitive...which will likely mean price-cuts and aggressive marketing and new IPs that can help boost the industry.
Competition: Good for gamers and the industry.
Good point, which I'll bet is why they're being so aggressive now.
Just to spite them, Take-Two should publish GTAIV NOW, and drive up their stock.
PLEASE let this be true...Lockout was far and away my favorite H2 map. Now, if they could also remake Midships...
