Alive and kicking...but has suffered a few black eyes (RRoD, Wii's success, PS3's resurgence).
A price cut in North America and more AAA exclusives would definitely help.
Stop him! For the love of God, stop him before he kills...er, FILMS, again!
(With him, there's no difference!)
The above comment makes some valid points...doesn't fall into the fanboy trap at all...and what does it get?
Disagrees...
PATHETIC.
So...ONE comment from ONE individual from ONE retailer equals "360 is getting dumped in Australia?"
Did ANYONE who approved this story even bother to read the article and notice a rather blatantly misleading title?
What happened to this site?
When did it go from being News4Gamers to News4FANBOYS?
Sales numbers suggest that people don't seem to care.
I bought one for the family, and they're perfectly content with it.
I think this comment cost me bubble #10...I feel so mortal (sniff, sniff). :)
Karma's a b!tch.
I think it's intended to be sarcastic and ironic.
Achievements belong on the list...they're gaming crack...more of an addiction than an obsession.
Memo to MS: North American price cut: NOW.
Bring out some big guns at E3.
Get aggressive with your marketing strategy.
Or else, your significant lead from your early launch will be for naught. Third place isn't what you were striving for this gen.
(And yes, I own a 360).
Loud HD player? Mine's whisper-quiet, and so are the ones my friends have...possibly you have a defective one? Just a thought.

There's only one drawback to getting a PS3 for Blu-Ray (you might find this funny):
I'll want to buy games for it. Yes, that's a problem, because I already own a 360 and a Wii...and I have a hard enough time affording games for those systems as it is. I mean, I would have the option of getting Ratchet, Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone, MGS4...
See what you've done? Now I'm drooling. :)
But seriously, I'll probably just get a stand-alone player, rather tha...
Disagreed. And I own a 360.
I would gladly take a BR player to hook up to my new HDTV, be it a standalone or a 360 attachment.
Count me as one of them. Just as long as it's affordable (say $149-$199).
If MS doesn't get off their @sses and make a 360-compatible BR player, I will be buying a stand-alone player next spring...either a standard model, or a PS3. Whichever's cheapest at that time.
I'm sure the bundling helped, but 3 million is 3 million. Congrats.
Also: Open Office, VLC Media Player, Handbrake, CCleaner.
Are they? Are they not?
While I think that MS will eventually get BR for the 360, it would be nice to know for sure, one way or the other, and stop all this rumor-mongering.
Wasn't the same list already posted on Easter Sunday, just from a different site?
Wow. Usually Democrats (and of late, Republicans) insist that the government regulate everything, leaving nothing to personal and individual responsibility. That's pretty refreshing to hear.
With Ron Paul out, he might--MIGHT--get my vote. I still have concerns about his relative lack of experience.
@meepmoopmeep
I partially agree with you...I hope MS supports the 360 longer than they did the Xbox...and I hope to hell they've resolved (or greatly, greatly lowered) the system's failure rate.
Imagine a reliable 360, with hundreds of games, at $149-$199 in a few years. Even with a new system out (720 or whatever), the 360 could still have a lot of sales potential...look at the continued success of the PS2 for a great example.
