Hell yes.
It's a Wii remote and a game for $10 more than the remote by itself. People think they're getting a bargain, when in reality the extra games are barely worth the $10.
It sells because of the perceived value.
Multi-console ownership is a good thing. Best of all worlds.
Ooooops.
Still play it, on both my PC and XBLA, along with Quake 1-3, Hexen and Heretic. Dated, to be sure, but the gameplay's still very solid.
More of those early id software classics on XBLA would be awesome.
;)
GoW3 FTW!
Final Fantasy VII/VIII, Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey FTW. (And that's just a small sampling...the man's amazing).
I suspect that some people are having "that time of the month." :)
They don't necessarily need Blu-Ray, but they definitely need something that's higher capacity for the next system...perhaps a home-grown proprietary one?
However, adapting BR would allow them both the disc capacity for games AND HD video playback.
We'll see.
That's every day on N4G, sadly.
I live in St. Louis, and David Sheets is a notorious hack.
This is about as lame as all those "PS3 is doomed" articles we saw a year and a half ago, and look how that turned out.
Agreed with DJ...it will all depend on software. The '09 lineup is solid so far...but we don't know what MS has up their sleeve.
About time.
If I were Sony, I'd put Sackboy as the lead in every commercial.
I may be a 360 owner, but I'm sad to see a game as high-quality and original as LBP struggle, and to see so little promotion for it.
Uh-uh...shooting's too good.
Chainsaw...and make sure it's in reverse, from groin to neck
Grenade tag...so he has a moment to realize his fate
Down him...curb STOMP.
Torque bow...exquisite agony before he bursts into a million pieces
Flamethrower...best served well-done
And do all of it as Cole Train...I'm sure the irony will be lost on Soulja Boy, but still...
Sign of the apocalypse.
He is the epitome of ignorance, hype, and pseudo-talent.
OK.
Let the same be said for children and game systems. :)
That said, the disc installation feature is one of the things I love about the NXE. I could care less about avatars and certain other features (though Netflix ROCKS), but I'm now able to cut my Fable II load times in half. That's a definite plus.
This article is about 360 games. Not about PS3 games.
Would you want someone throwing Alan Wake into a discussion of next year's PS3 games?
Nice article. Pretty fair and unbiased.
I have three friends who are both hardcore gamers AND hardcore Christians...so the two aren't incompatible.
Gamer.blorge...I stopped reading there.
About as unbiased as Xboxkings or other fansites.
