Given the cost of developing an AAA game title, which can be as much as a feature film, many companies have found that going multi-plat is the best--and sometimes ONLY--way to recoup their costs. And in the current economy, I doubt that even SE could afford to stick to just one system.
Agree? Disagree? Tell me why.
Who can push the "B" button the fastest? :)
They also have a number of DS games on sale, and gift cards and sales on certain Wii games.
There's also a sale on Guitar Hero World Tour for PS3.
Plus a $50 gift card for 360 systems when purchased with certain games.
(Sorry, not trying to spam. Just have a copy of the ad in my hand...St. Louis papers publish them on Saturday).
Good time to stock up on gifts for yourself or others.
Good buy.
While I wish it was all on one disc, I don't mind changing them. Not a deal-breaker for me.
But this does highlight the fact that MS will definitely need a higher-capacity format for their next system.
As much as I would welcome MGS on the 360, I think the theories about the iPhone or DSi are far more likely.
Those green icons, though, do make me wonder...
I would have put KOTOR a little higher, and found a place for Mass Effect on the list...but otherwise, all very good choices. Hard to argue with any of them being quality RPGs.
They're so pathetically amusing.
I thought the thumbstick-based combat was actually pretty cool, and I enjoyed that aspect of the game (and very little else).
But as an innovation on the scale of LBP? Uh, NO.
And as I said in an above comment, I would have put SSMB on the multiplayer list over Too Human.
OK. WTF happened? Solid concept, impressive art design...and the game was a letdown. (Yes, I've played it).
It's not in the realm of Haze/Too Human floppery, but it's not spectacular, either. Probably worth picking up as a $20 used game.
OK, why?
I'll agree with you...I would have put SSMB on the list instead of Too Human.
The beggars in AC...OMG, so freaking annoying! After getting pushed into the water a second time, I shanked every one of the b@stards down by the piers before attempting another crossing.
And the female beggers made me fail at least a couple of missions by getting in my way as I was slowly walking away from the scene of an assassination mission.
Off the list: Cortana was fine for the first two Halos, but in H3, her persistent "pop-ins" got a little annoyin...
N4G's Random Disagree Monster. He gets loose from time to time, hungry for the virgin blood of fanboys. :)
They suffer from terminal virginity. :)
Are they serious?
About the same odds as seeing Uncharted on a 360...ain't gonna happen.
Flamebait FUD.
Gamers.
Still needs an HD. But here's a question: Will the Arcades still include a 256MB memory card?
Given the mixed reviews for the JRPGs on the 360 (Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia good, Infinite Undiscovery, Blue Dragon, and the Last Remnant not so good), I'm a little wary of Star Ocean IV...but I'm hoping for the best.
A lot better than Soulja Boy.
