I'd be willing to bet that if you stacked all the anti-PS3 stories on this site next to all of the anti-360 stories, they'd come out pretty even.
Sony definitely needs more (and better advertisements). I've seen Motorstorm ads about a dozen times...but no LBP, R2, or Socom ads. At all.
And my TV spends time on every network plus most of the major cable stations.

That's a lot lower than I would have expected. Other reviewers may be more forgiving, but IGN's reviews tend to carry a lot of weight and often reflect overall opinion.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game and would welcome any excuse to go back to it.
Three observations:
For one, I can honestly say that I have yet to see a SINGLE television ad for the game. Not ONE. Plenty of online ads, but no TV ads. I've seen a ton of ads for Motorstorm: PS (mostly during sports), but not one LBP. Where were the ads?
Secondly, people need to chill out. For one, it's VGChartz, so I'd wait for the NPD for the official numbers.
Thirdly, everyone needs to remember the verrrry slow start Uncharted got off to last year, ...
Always good to see a game like Okami succeed when given another chance. It is one of the most original games I have ever played.

Actually looks good so far.
But I doubt this will see the light of day for a while, so comparisons to LBP may be a little premature. It may turn out to be something completely different (like LBP is now).
Is it out already? I didn't think it was due for a few more days.
I got my NXE today, and download and setup took less than six minutes total. The interface is easy and smooth, and the avatars suck less than I thought they would. They're actually cool once you get into the nitty-gritty of customizing them.
Haven't tried Netflix yet, but video streaming from my PC is still very easy.
