my only problem with the launch line up is the lack of rpgs :'(
uncharted and shinobido will suffice though
at first i just ignored the datalog because i thought it was something lame, never even gave it a look. story did not make much sense without it, i had to play through it again to figure it out
13-2's story so far is pretty good, im always wanting to see more of it
i already have it preordered from amazon, would like to keep it there - hope they get something, amazon credit would be awesome, if they dont ill be switching to gamestop though
and in the US the price hasnt moved at all
the free market has failed us over here :(
competition: three people win and make a pact to not drop their prices
they release at least one exclusive every month, cant space it out any better than that.
i think, for sony, it comes down to the money, and right now microsoft is showing that games dont get support for your console. microsoft is selling a lot more games then sony is yet they dont develop any games. it means microsoft is making more money by doing less, the dream of any company.
people need to start showing support for how good sony is being to their customers and buying 3rd party games on ps3 instead of 360 or the whole thing will be turned into a mass media, ad...
more people should look at it this way
free online (seriously, before this gen, online was always free, then here comes along one platform and charges for it? seriously, why do anyone support that?) lots of money spent on developing games as apposed to microsoft who spends their money, not on games, but on marketing? cmon man, again, why would anyone support that?
you can either support a platform holder who invests money into making a platform that has lots ...
i very much doubt insufficient heat dissipation is a major factor in any device that makes it to the market. its almost always a problem with some component, non-lead based solder in the case of many elections (such as ps3) today, which is traced back to heat, but not in the way youre thinking.
the ps3 is sufficiently cooled without this, and probably better off also. having a fan on top of another fan is a recipe for disaster if not properly aligned (which this isnt btw). on...
indeed, this is a must. in the back of my mind i feel like theyre holding back ps1 classics/remote play so that people are more limited in the games that they can choose for the vita.
they probably ant to show third party developers that the vita will be able to push software. the psp didnt do a great job of pushing psp software and they might be trying to turn that around here.
either way, i hope i can play ps1 classics pretty quick after launch
says its priced too high because its "stuffed" with things it didnt need
mentions one thing that costs a few cents to produce
i assure you removing the gyroscopes would only save sony 35cents per model sold and they would still sell it for the same price at retail.
i love how people who have no background in engineering try and second guess engineers with 20-30 years of experience in the field
i want amazon credit also lol, if they dont put up a credit soon i wont be buying one from amazon. would rather just go down the street and buy one anyways, no shipping
i love when theres anonymous sources, it always tells me that the article is full of it.
the article quotes (ha) an anonymous source saying
"It definitely makes us think about how we view the distribution of content related to our games when it is free for us to do it on the web, on Xbox Live, or any other way"
i just wanted to point out that this is not free, not on the web, xboxlive, or any other way.
i wouldnt be surprise...
online passes only work if you go online. this would require you to have some sort of internet connection to play any game, and while i know that thats not going to effect many people here, on a website, there are a lot of people who play games who dont connect their consoles to the internet.
how do you get around this? connect every console to a cell network. how does a console holder do this? they charge a monthly fee for playing your single player game.
ar...
i hope the ps3 version comes with a download code for the vita version
maybe theyre just putting it together so that this one releases soon after the vita launches, and still plan to release versus in november
ohhh, an intuitive, easy to use interface means its aimed at casuals. thanks for solving that mystery, genius.
from wikipedia on user interface design:
"The goal of user interface design is to make the user's interaction as simple and efficient as possible"
any interface thats not intuitive and easy to use is doing it wrong
you do realize that they werent talking about a sequel... they were asked about a sequel and they said that theyre not thinking about it, rather theyre focusing on this game - later going on to say that they wont be putting a cliffhanger into this game.
so, no, no sequel talk already
this is one small, very small reason why.
the big problem for THQ in this is that the 1.4 million dont include just a game, every game comes with a peripheral as well. video game inventory is very cheap, its just the disk and the box, but this had the tablet with it, which made it cost a lot more and take up a lot more space
piracy =/= stealing
piracy = copyright infringement, which is a civil case, not a criminal case, and the maximum fine (no jail time can be given out for this when laws are properly followed) is the cost of the license of what was infringed upon.
what is illegal? applying the wrong laws to copyright infringement, being put into prison for 5 years (in the us) for what should have been a civil case, not a criminal case. why does the entertainment industry get away with t...
