I realise they want to maximise availability for all platforms, but that doesn't stop them releasing HP on PS3/360, then Wii/PSP, then DS!

Incorrect - unless they actually took the time to look it up, most purchasing was done who do not know or care about the differences between platform.
This is why adverts need to be accurate. It's also why Greenberg is on record saying he relies on peoples ignorance when it comes to selling 360s.
Fuel had bronze trophies if you drove from one zone on the landscape to another (instead of using the map and teleport), each journey would take 2-4 hours in real time to drive. No events, no races, nothing, just you and the road (or path or mountain side or valley or however you get around)
Was the slowdowns enough to give 360 the edge?
Not in my opinion, but I know others will disagree. And the point is moot since they use different engines.
1 - Install. You can install the game on 360 to speed up loading. Why is this a problem on PS3? Wolverine (another Unreal Engine game), streamed from disk, and installed as the game went on to increase loading. Does anybody have an actual problems with installs so many years of the console's release?

And there was none. Never have I been so bored, and how ashamed the author must feel that his personal preferences are so bland and crow-pleasing.
