My only issue with combat is how they made some lightsaber attacks use up you Force meter. And it took a LOT! I mean, a simple overhead swing should not cost 2/3 of your Force meter lol. It shouldn't take ANY of it. No Jedi is using the Force to swing a lightsaber downward lol.
Basically, I feel like the only lightsaber based attack that should require Force meter is the Lightsaber Throw.
It just made it to where I didn't use any special lightsab...
They aren't. But it's very obvious this game takes a lot of inspiration from the Souls series and even Sekiro.
It has exploration where you can go in multiple directions from the get-go. But you may not be ready to go certain ways yet, until you get some powers and upgrades.
The combat is very similar to Sekiro in the sense that it heavily relies on the counter-attack system. It's fairly difficult on the harder settings.
It...
I'm not sure how having an easy mode makes the game feel hollow. I played through on Jedi Master and found it to be just the right difficulty for me.
But not everyone would like that. I'm all for games having only one difficulty set at hard, like Sekiro if that is the developers vision. But this being Star Wars it needed to be more accessible. I don't see a problem with that. If it's too easy for you and feels "hollow" just play on the harder diffi...
And why does the game make you run back to your shop after every mission? I just finished the game last night and didn't seem to have that problem throughout the entire game. So I find it interesting that the version you played makes you run back to the shop after every mission.
I'm assuming MK XL sales are included in this since it's the same game.
So, MK11 hasn't been out nearly as long as MKX. So even without MKXL in the numbers I would still expect its numbers to be higher than MK11 at this point.
Yeah. CodBlops 5 sounds much better.
I'm sure Blizzard had no plans to release DLC when they were making Diablo 2.
I agree with everything you're saying. But......its people complaining about there not being enough representation that leads to this stuff.
There will never be a middle ground that everyone finds and flocks to. The Last of Us 2 is a perfect example of this. From everything we've seen, Ellie just happens to be a gay character. The story doesn't look to center around it. It was revealed she was gay in the first game.
Yet that first trailer we...
Nah. I would rather play a game where you create your own Inquisitor and hunt down Jedi in hiding.
I don't disagree with any of that, man. I will say, as far as dodging and still getting hit, I think that was on purpose. It seems like the game wants the player to rely more on the counter-attack system rather than rolling away.
I only say that because a lot of the time if you roll you won't be able to get close enough to the enemy in time to land a hit while they are open. And there's also a short delay of not being able to block or attack right after a roll, ...
Once you get Force Pull you can just pull the rope to you, even if you are already in mid-air.
"Plus, on any difficulty above Story, you lose health if you fail at a platforming sequence. Most of your time is going to be spent jumping around in circles to get to the next objective, and there is highly inconsistent collision detection leading to multiple deaths beyond your control. That means you will either burn through your health injectors or have to turn on Story difficulty whenever exploring the world."
This is 100% untrue. It sounds like the guy is jus...
As long as the battles are still turn based that sounds amazing.
Combat feels great.
I agree, the cosmetics are really weak. I would have preferred some actual new costumes, but they are all just re-colors of your original costume. Lightsaber parts are cool, but I wish there was some type of system like in God of War, where you could equip different perks to your lightsaber parts. This would add a slight RPG element while letting you use the parts you like the look of.
You may not be far enough in the game? There is a ...
Yeah, but early on the game doesn't have anything to base your skill on. You have to play some matches before it knows your skill level and can match you up accordingly.
Do you not understand what Console Wars are? It's a war between consoles and the winner is determined by CONSOLE SALES. Not whether or not 3rd party or 1st party games sell more copies.
3rd party games don't help push consoles because you can buy them on multiple platforms. Exclusives sell consoles. Nintendo has survived for almost 40 years on that understanding.
Saying there are no console wars because 3rd party games sell better on consoles is m...
This hasn't happened to me. In fact I've had no freezes or crashes.
Except that companies can change and stay relevant without converting to anti-consumerism.
Also, who in their right mind calls a game "almost unplayable" and then rates it a 7?
Haha. That's fair. I'm going to take a break then try it on Grand Master. Once I got used to the Combat I pretty much ran through the game with no problems.
I did struggle a bit when I got to the new enemies on Dathomir. And I lost about 25 times or so against the end boss. But other than that it wasn't too bad.
