I was coming here to say the same thing. Yeah, Ace Combat 7 was great. But it had more than its share of paid DLC...
Oh dude lol that sucks. I liked Assault Horizons quite a bit, but it was very disappointing as an Ace Combat game. And the first thing I did was change my control scheme.
But even that didn't make the action sequences, helicopter levels, and mounted mini-gun levels feel weird in that game.
Again, I liked the game for what it was. It was all very well done. It just wasn't Ace Combat.
@Christopher
Of course it's the big sites, magazines, and reviewers faults. They are the ones that grade anything lower than a 7 as a piece of crap. And it's happened so much and for so long that its now the norm.
I don't dispute that at all.
Those scores are not accurate in the least bit.
I can't remember the last time I played a game with a 5/10 rating that I considered to be just an average and working game. Games that get 5's are usually a mess.
I rarely buy anything lower than a 7 because I find anything with a lower score than that is not an very good game. There are always exceptions, mind you.
Because once a score starts getting too low its indicative of a broken game.
Opinion and fun factor should definitely play a part in reviews, but more importantly the QUALITY of the game should be a major focus.
I have no interest in Death Stranding at all, so I have no dog in this fight, but by all accounts it's a well made game with little to no glitches, good sound, graphics, etc.
So giving a game something low like a 5 or 4 woul...
And what market is the Nintendo targeted at? Is it not targeting people that play video games? Am I missing something?
The only reason people keep Nintendo separate from PS or Xbox is because the ONLY reason to get a Nintendo is their vast amounts of exclusives. There's not much point in getting a Switch for the multi-plat games to play them on a far weaker system. (Aside from portability I suppose). But I highly doubt portability of multi-plat games is their target con...
What's funny is how the best combination of consoles for someone to get is a PS4 and Switch. You are getting the most out of the best exclusives the industry has to offer that way.
The only thing you would really miss out on is Gears of War, Halo, and Forza.
Most Nintendo games have cartoony graphics. You don't need a crazy powerful system to make those look great, as Nintendonhas proven time after time.
Unfortunately, there are those that see that and think the console is for kids.
I wasn't a fan of the Xenoverse games, but I gotta give credit to them for supporting the hell out of it.
I like the Borderlands games, but I certainly wouldn't consider them contenders for funniest games of all time.
Yep. Atari 2600 for me too.
"never really a fan of turn based (og super mario RPG and FF3 on the super nes are the real exceptions) so i don’t tie FF to playstation"
What in the world does being a fan of turn based games have to do with tying FF to Playstation?
The campaign was good and all but the Horde Mode in this was top notch!
Good job proving that the people the haters are talking about really do exist. It's you.
I think you guys are all just taking the quote too literally. Yes, obviously nothing is for everyone. But everything has it's own appeal levels. Some things have a much broader appeal than others.
Saying "its not for everyone" is just another way of saying it does not have the mass appeal of something like a CoD game. That's all.
Meh....I do agree with your point. But Terninator and Charlie's Angel's failed because people just have no desire to see those franchises any more.
Terminator has been run into the ground by releasing the same movie over and over again when they should have just made a proper trilogy in the future already. I know they made Salvation but that was the early future. After T3 they should have done a series way in the far future. What we saw a glimpse of in T2. T3 confir...
You know there are better ways to advertise that you can get good drugs. Not everyone might know what Google Stadia is.
I like that you are using the internet though.
Minecraft is a timeless game that will always be a big money maker. It caters to small children and adults alike. And it does it with oldschool graphics and players using their imagination.
Minecraft isn't going anywhere for a very long time.
Yes
Yeah. The Legend of Drizzt series. My favorite fantasy series of all time.
Lol, how on earth will any friends be able to play this without arguing over who gets to play as Drizzt? At least the other 3 characters are still cool. But they aren't Drizzt...
