Of course it deserves another chance. Look at the following the Alien franchise has, even though only two of the movies were good.
It isn't the franchise that is bad, its the people making the games. The original AvP and AvP 2 on PC proved that.
Get it in the right hands, and you'll see how stupid this question is.
This game was absolutely terrible.
Nope, can't say i've played that.
hahahahaha!
You were merely trained in the shadows....I WAS BORN IN THEM!!!
I don't really see how a survival horror game with one Alien can really carry an entire game.
How many times can you survive an encounter with the Alien before it just starts to get a little stupid.
So what, you just keep running into the Alien throughout the game, and have to hide until it goes away? I just don't see how that can be interesting for an entire game.
I hope I'm wrong, and I'm sure there are other things ...
From what I've seen, everyone isn't going to be in mechs non-stop.
Its not like every player will be driving one at any point.
I could be wrong, but the gameplay I've seen doesn't look anything like that. It looks like there's quite a bit of running around on foot, actually.
The maps must be really small.
I agree with that, but in that film, the alien had plenty of people to slaughter. And they all bought the farm during their first encounter with the alien.
What I'm saying, is that it seems a little weird to me that you are obviously going to have multiple encounters with the Alien throughout this game, otherwise it would get boring.
How many times are you going to be able to survive that? It just seems a little ridiculous and contrived to me. I hope ...
I loved the first Lords of Shadow. I hated the way they put the sequel on a different system.
I'm glad this is coming out as a collection now!
Ripley looks nothing like Ripley.
I'll have to see some gameplay of this. I just don't see how running around with only one bad guy the whole time is going to something that can carry an entire game.
Even other survival horror games, like RE and Deadspace had tons of enemies to fight. I just don't see how this can be interesting with only one enemy.
I mean how many times can you really survive an encounter with the alien b...
Man, this game looks so incredible, but as beautiful as it is, the gameplay is what will make or break it.
If they need some more time to make a quality game, not just a pretty game, then I'm all for it.
Its a catch 22. Sure its disappointing that we have to wait longer, but I'll take that all day over getting a crappy, unfinished game.
I'm pretty sure that means they're revealing it on their cover. It wouldn't really be a reveal if its something people already know about...
6. Why does everything look medievel if this game is set in the future?
What do you mean? Colonial Marines was a technological marvel. As in, I marveled at how horrible it was with the technology we have available in this day and age.
Yes, because mimic monsters have NEVER appeared in ANYTHING aside from Dark Souls...
The first one was fantastic.
Um...PS3 has been doing this on PSN+ for a long time....
I played some MMO's that charged monthly fees to play, and I'm sorry, but its just not worth it to me.
$180 a year on top of the $50-$60 price tag of buying the actual game is a little ridiculous.
At least with micro-transactions you are only buying what you want. (Keep in mind, I'm not necessarily in support of MT's, but I can see their value over a set monthly fee just to play the game.)
I guess it doesn't really ...
heh heh, thanks man
Only because its so new. Give it a year, maybe even 6 months, and you'll see it pick up.
Remember, the PS4 has only been out for less than 3 months.....
