In all fairness, he never really said it was a bad game. He said he didn't enjoy it. He's allowed to have an opinion.
Why would any of this be surprising?
If they were smart, they would take a couple years off, re-do the entire game, as far as graphics at least, give it a new engine and make it look next gen, and then release it.
It would be huge. The COD people would be hungry for another one after a 2 year break.
But then again, people keep buying these ridiculous games year after year, so I guess there's no reason to do that.
I would much rather see that ending.

I don't mind if a game has Always Online DRM...its when an entire console has it that I get irritated. Being able to not play a single game when internet is down is one thing....not being able to play ANY games when internet is down is a completely other thing.

I never really encountered most of the glitches people claim are in Dead Island, and I played quite a lot of that game. So yeah, I don't think it belongs here, as its pretty fun. And for some reasy, kicking in the head of a fallen zombie until they die never really seems to get old.

Sure, Diablo 2 is the best one. But to say this one sucks is a little ridiculous. Its still a great game. You're comparing it to a game that is arguably the best of all time in its genre.

I agree. In my opinion, the original AvP and AvP 2 on PC were the ONLY good Alien games.
The console version blows the PC version out of the water.
This is probably one of the only instances I can think of where even PC fanatics will agree with that.
This seems kind of weird to me, especially when you consider that franchises like Battlefield were born without single player, and that was back in a day when online gaming was an even smaller community than it is now.
Granted, there technically was a single player mode, although all it was, was the same thing as online multiplayer, only all the other players were bots. Its not like it had a campaign or anything. Now look at the juggernaut Battlefield has become.
I never understood the appeal od Dark Souls. Maybe I'll try playing it again, but last time it just didn't do it for me.
