RE4 at least felt like a survival horror game. Everything after that took what RE4 did and blew it way out of proportion.
This game came out of nowhere and was excellent! I hope they have plans for a new one.

Thanks for the advice man. I really want to like this, honestly. I've had Dark Souls for a long time now and haven't traded it in because I've always felt like I would go back to it one day and figure it out.

When ME3 came out, I was afraid the multiplayer was just going to be some tacked on nonsense, but then it turned out to be one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I've had in a long time. I was seriously surprised by it!
I can't wait to get back into Mass Effect!!! One of my favorite franchises, even though the ending wasn't that great, it still doesn't negate the fact that all three games were fantastic.
I guess i'm going to have to try Dark Souls again. This will be my third time.
They just didn't seem like my cup of tea the first two times, but I'll give it one more shot before giving up the series completely.

CoD was a totally different type of game back then. They didn't get into the hugely popular online game that it is now until Modern Combat.
Battlefield has been at this a lot longer.

I'm a Sony fan, but I'm actually very happy to see that Titanfall is doing well. Simply because I'll probably end up getting an X1 down the road, and if this does well, then they will almost certainly make a sequel when I want to get one.
