Its kind of hard to compare the two when CoD has way more weapons and they are all heavily modifiable. Not to mention way more maps. Its easy to see why CoD or Battlefield would keep someone's interest that likes those games.
Don't get me wrong. I liked Battlefront. It just didnt have enough to keep me interested, and that makes me very sad.

The only thing that sucks about waiting for fighting games is that the community shrinks so much. For instance, i got on MKX last night after nit playing for months and all that seemed to be playing were were ridiculously good.
Its very hard to get good at a fighting game when you constantly get beat so bad by everyone.

By the way, i agree that Survival and most of the modes are poor. But again, that doesn't equal a lack of content. If all of these game modes were done better than the game would have been praised by nearly everyone! Unfortunately, the many modes it has are done poorly. Thats the problem. Not lack of content. Actually....it came with 4 PLANETS, and a free 5th one to download a couple weeks after release. It had way more actual maps, they were just all broken up into the different game modes so that each mode only had a handful of maps.
Also, it actually does have quite a few modes to play as well as a lot of stuff to do in single player/Co-op.
