If the reception of Wolfenstein and Doom have taught us anything its that people still enjoy and want good single player FPS games.
If they would have made a good, complete game rather than releasing about 20% of a game then people would have bought it.
What a stupid headline.
Is Overwatch getting fantastic reviews and loved by tons of players? Yes.
Is Overwatch a shooter? Yes.
Is Overwatch made by Blizzard? Yes.
So then yes, Overwatch DOES prove that Blizzard can make a good shooter.
The delay isn't what causes loss of interest. Starting to talk about a game 2 or 3 years before it launches is the problem.
Lots of games get delayed all the time and it doesn't hurt the interest. Its when people have been waiting literal years for a game, a release date gets announced, and then a month before launch it gets delayed. People get tired of waiting at that point.
Uh.......
So you don't think delays are a good thing but then go on to mention things that are the cause of 90% of delays as bad things?
Devs and production companies don't just delay games for no reason. They do it because something still needs a little work. In most cases that is absolutely a good thing. Otherwise, you and everyone else would get a game with something wrong with it and then you would complain about that.
The ...
Should single player only games be full priced then?
Because I can tell you that i get way more play time out of Multiplayer only games then I ever would out of single player offline only games.
Haha. I read the Uncharted 4 review.....
2/10? And all they complained about was disliking the story.
The praised the graphics, sound, and gameplay, but the story itself dropped it tona 2.
A 2 is a broken game. A game that is barely playable, if at all.
These guys are hacks.....
Well, considering that you are the only one complaining about opinions being stated as facts......
Most people are taught how to tell the difference between fact and opinion at a very young age. You do not have to say "in my opinion" or "i believe" in order for it to be an opinion.
"Doom is a great game." That is an opinion. See how that works? Most non-idiots don't need to be told in a sentence that its an opinion....
Hahahahahahahahaha.
You said you wanted to play Destiny for the story......
I'm a big Destiny fan but the story isn't told in the actual game, buddy. But thats cute to think so.
When it released for PC, yes it sucked. But the console version is fantastic.
But either way the game has been out for years. Why would anyone be surprised that people have moved on?
This was a clickbait headline if I've ever seen one. The actual article even praises the campaign. So if they think the campaign is great then how is Snap Map the "saving grace"? Also, if the game wasn't fun to play then who would care about having a map editor to play their non-fun game in? Because clickbait. Thats why.
MvC3 was terrible. Such a disappointment.
If this were to happen they would need to do away with the lame infinite combos. What a mistake. All someone has to do is land a single weak normal on you and you are set up for an infinite combo.
Also, Phoenix was broken as all hell.
MvC2 is my favorite fighter of all time. Make it more like that and I'm in.
Lol what?
Trophies are meant to be earned by completing specific accomplishments. Why shouldn't they be disabled if you used cheats to get it?
Thats the equivalent of saying its okay to go to a test in college with answers, or even your notes hidden in your sleeve. You really aren't earning the trophy as intended if you use cheats to make it easier.
They aren't overrated at all. I'll agree that the combat os overrated. I really dislike the tapping of a single buttong and pointing in a direction to take out a group of enemies. I'm more of a Ninja Gaiden/God of War 3rd person combat system fan.
But even with the combat system, these are still great games.
I guess it shouldn't be surprising, but still disappointing.
When all is said done, i didn't experience any bad glitches while playing it.
The story was interesting. The gameplay was exactly the same as Asylum and City. The graphics were nice. I just don't get the hate for that game.
Is it simply because it was made by a different company? If so, thats a crappy reason to hate on a pretty good game.
Dude you won't be disappointed. This is coming from a guy that grew up playing the original games.
Its a perfect blend of the old games with new-school tropes.
Fast paced, no reloading, no aiming down sights, for the oldschool.
Weapon and armor upgrades and mods, awesome graphics, and collectibles for the newschool.
This is my favorite game in a long time....
Its very disappointing that this doesn't include Origins.
I personally liked that game and didn't understand the backlash it received. It was no different than Asylum and City.
Not to mention I want the whole series, not just two of the 3. (Not including Arkham Knight of course. I already have that.)
Gaming is dead? What are you planning on doing with all the free time you'll have since you won't be playing video games anymore?
Even that new E-League is pretty weak.
They tried to make gaming in the direction of the NBA yet they didnit with Counterstrike. I tried watching it and it is just too hard to follow. The camera keeps switching between one of the players. It only focuses on any one player for a short second or two. Its the equivalent of watching a football game through each player's individual helmet cam. You can't see what any other players are doing other than their location on th...
