Well he's not completely nekkit. He's got boxers on. Kinda disappointing....
Depends on the genre. Assuming the world is fun to explore then open world games only benefit from larger worlds.
However, when playing linear games like God of War then the size of the world stops mattering as much as long as there are enough levels to keep it interesting.
I feel like this is a question without an answer because it doesn't specify what type of games we're talking about...
Man I couldn't agree more. The Wii was a console for non-gamers. That sounds worse than how its meant though. I had a Wii also and so did many ither gamers. However, the Wii had a very large customer base when it came out because so many people who did not normally play video games were out buying them simply for the motion controls and the idea of using it for exercise.
After about a year the hype died.
Its a shame that Nintendo won't give an alterna...
If you are talking about badges and whatnot you can get simply by logging in on a certain day then you what you are talking about are more like trophies or achievements.
Pretty sure this article is talking about items you have to go around and find in-game to collect.
I don't understand how that could be. The gamestop by me is huge and it doesn't matter when you go there it always has a 20 minute long line because its packed full of people buying stuff.
While a lot of kids do have their own phones at a young age, this isn't clear if this was the child's phone or not. It says the kid memorized his father's Apple ID, so I assume it was on his dad's device.
But again, my 5 year old has her own tablet. Its a simple matter to set parental controls.
Absolutely. Most devices ask if you want them to remember your card info. All you have to do is say no. Sure it takes a little more time enter that stuff when I want to buy something, but when you have a 5 year that doesn't realize they are spending money on things its a lifesaver.
This is why my phone, my 3DS XL, my daughter's tablet, and my PS4 all have password restrictions before any purchases can be made. I also make it so that my card information has to be entered manually every time on the devices i can.
I'll be damned if my daughter is going to spend all our money on accident lol.
In a world where the Xbox 360 was plagued with the Red Ring of Death for the entire span of its life, you would dare to say that the Xbox One is MORE BROKEN?
I mean, I don't even have an Xbox One and I can tell you how dumb this sounds.
I had 4 Xbox 360's last gen because every single one of them got the RROD at some point. Even my black "Elite" version ended up getting the RROD......twice. its the entire reason I went with PS4 this gen.
I got NFS and Shadow of Mordor Complete Edition. I'm happy.
He should make a new Snatcher.
Um....
I'm not big on the whole VR thing. Give me a controller and just let me play my games.
Having said that, I'm a huge Ace Combat fan and just the idea of playing that in VR is something I would never be able to pass up. What an experience that would be!
People need to quit spreading this lie that turn based games were created due to a lack of hardware capabilities. That is 100% untrue.
Turn based games were created to mimic popular table top roleplaying games of the day, like Dungeons and Dragons. There were plenty of full on action rpg's back then. If They wanted to make FF games action based they could have.
Also, what do you mean turn based doesn't fit the generation? There are still many turn ba...
Wrong. TIE Fighter is the greatest Star Wars game ever.
Then KOTOR.
How about a PS4 release?
Man, i could not agree more with you.
People tend to also forget that there are great games that are also turnbased where you dont just stand still. X-Com is turned based and its brilliant. I'm fully engulfed in Divinity 2 right now and I love it.
To say that turn based games should not exist anymore is pretty close minded and selfish considering these people wouldn't even be playing them anyway. It would be like me saying sports games shouldn't ...
But again, you didn't answer the question. Why should it not exist? You feel its archaic, and thats fine, but there are tons of people that would still love it, myself included. But at the same time, I'm interested i what they are offering with this remake. I'm not just condemning it. I'm willing to give it a try.
So why should turn based combat be a thing of the past when its still got a following?
Yeah it was a joke of a comment, but seriously, what kinda garbage is that? You don't like turn based combat so you think it shouldn't exist?
Thats pretty ridiculous man. Maybe address what I'm saying rather than trying very poorly at insulting me.
Um....why can't they both exist?
There are very clearly a lot of people that either love or hate turn based games.
So please explain why turn based simply shouldn't exist.
Please don't suck. Please don't suck. Please don't suck.....
