I like A. Its a good cover cover and it fits the content of the game nicely.
However, the second one is better for anyone that grew up playing Doom, like myself. Its instant nostalgia. Can't wait for this game.
Am i missing something? It sounds like one of these two WILL be the default cover. The article doesn't mention these being special edition covers or anything. That leads me to believe that Space Marine one was just a place holder cover for very early advertising.
By the way I totally agree with you, that cover was horrendous and didn't fit the game at all.
I love this game so much! And you are right, Revelations is the same size as Conquest and Birthright.
I started with Conquest. Haven't started Birthright yet. Conquest is fantastic though! Its also quite hard. I'm playing on the 2nd difficulty and with no overworld to grind levels in it is seriously tough! But I love it for that. My only complaint with Awakening was hiw easy it could be at times.
I heard Birthright is more like that too, so I'm gl...
Have these guys been living in a cave? On Mars?
This is nothing new.
Everyone's got all their moves intact....
Bison was switched up quite a bit and a few others, but they dont really have any less specials.
Its weird, most people are talking about lack of content, which i totally understand. But like I said, everyone still has all their trademark moves for the most part.
I'm not familiar with characters like Birdie or other SFA people, maybe they are who you mean?
A lot better than Awakening? I loved Awakening. Thats really saying something!
Although Awakening was my first Fire Emblem game so I don't really have any others to compare.
Yeah. I've been busy with work and have had my dates messed up all week lol.
Cant wait to pick this up tomorrow!
Before I say any of this just understand that I totally agree with you.
However, i kind of understand the thought behind this move, even if I don't agree with it. As of now, sure its all about online. But there is a big update next month from what i understand. I also understand that they released it like this to let people prepare for Evo and the big tourneys while only making the others wait a month for single player content. I get it. I don't like it. But i get it....
The last two Mortal Kombat games did story mode right. MK Mythologies isn't even a fighting game.
I've never heard of this but its a buy for me. It looks amazing.
Yeah! Bases Loaded was awesome!
Don't be crazy....
The big differenc is that the NMS dvs have said you will be start anywhere from 40 - a couple hundred of hours away from the center of the universe, which is the big mystery of the game....what is there?
Assuming you do only the bare minimum needed to continue upgrading your ship enough to make it there, that is how long it could take, but realistically it will take people longer.
People played Destiny for about a year and a half straight and millions of peo...
This is the comment i was looking for. I personally loved Doom 3 as a game. It just didn't feel like a Doom game.
It was very well made with great graphics and the atnosphere was actually spooky.
X-Com 2 isn't an RTS...
Its Turn Based Strategy.
RTS are games like Command and Conquer and StarCraft. Or Warcraft before they stopped making Warcraft games and made them stupid.
But your point is still correct. A controller wouldn't make it any better or easier to control.
I dont understand how a controller would be awkward. You dont have control of any characters. You place a cursor over a character, then move the cursor to a square on the grid, then press a button to have that character move. Literally everything in the game is done that way.
Why would a controller make that any harder? Its just people complaining for no good reason.
Google Hard Corps: Uprising. It was exactly what you are asking for. It was on Xbox 360. In fact, it might be even more than you are asking for because it actually was a Contra prequel.
Classic sidescrolling shooting with 5 selectable characters, all with their own guns and specials, with new graphics.
It was a great game. But i'm with you. That game came out in 2011. Its time for another one.
I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I do think its a bit unfair to compare this generation with the old NES generation when it comes to creativity.
I only say that because back then there was a whole world yet to be created. At this point genres have all been made. Back then everything was new. Now the best we can hope for is innovation to tried and true genres that already exist.
I mean, how many other ways can you make a shooting game? We've ...
If you go by numbers in the title.
But there were more. Doom. Doom 2. Final Doom, which was actually the 3rd doom game as it was a full separate game and had a whole new story and was part of the original Doom trilogy.
Doom 3, which was actually more of a reboot.
Doom 64 which i believe was also a reboot, i could be wrong though.
And now this, which seems like anither reboot, which i believe is why the dropped the numbers and subt...
