I've been playing Resident Evil games since the original. I'm pretty excited for this. Sure I would have preferred a more classic feel, but that doesn't automatically make this game bad.

I don't agree with the reasoning though. RE: Remake did a great job of finding a middle ground between the oldschool tank controls, and a more modern feel. They had two separate control schemes. Classic Tank Controls, and a new hybrid control scheme that streamlined it.

To be fair, calling this an Outlast ripoff isn't fair. Combat is actually a big part of this game. As are the many different weapons/guns....and healing herbs....and zombies.....and claustrophobic, immersive areas...Umbrella.....man this sounds a lot like a Resident Evil game, huh?
Its just a different perspective. I'll be the first to agree that I wish they stuck with a 3rd person view. But the perspective change doesn't automatically ruin the game.

PS Now is for PS3 games. Why would you be looking for a PS4 game there?
Check the PSN store. It should be there. Also, the first demo was only for PS Plus. Do you have that? If not you would not have found it. This new demo does not require PS Plus though. ALL PS4 users can get this one.
Also, how have you found every other PS4 game? You couldn't have been looking in PS Now. So why would you not look in the same place for this PS4 game?

Maybe it was SUPPOSED to be easier and faster, but generation after generation shows the same results. At the beginning of a console generation it takes devs longer to develop games. The games they do develop that early are also no where near the full potential of what can be achieved from a graphical and performance standpoint.

I would actually go so far as to say that 6-7 years is the sweet spot.
I say that because it takes about that long for devs to really master putting out the best looking/running games on a console.

They need to make it more balanced than the previous ones. The multiplayer was a giant mess because there were only few viable options of mech builds.

When it comes to playing through the scenes that can't be beaten, I like them. It actually lets you feel the hopelessness. Like Halo: Reach. I would much rather have that then see it in a cutscene where I had no hand in what happened. "Oh man, I would have taken out way more enemies before dying than that!"
I totally agree with the other argument though. I hate when you have to beat a boss, then the cutscene shows you getting beaten. Its such a drastic change...
