1. Nintendo owns these rights. If they choose not to create anything with them, that is their decision. It may suck, but it doesn't give any fans the right to steal their property and make games to distribute. (Also, Metroid Federation Force just came out. Pokemon Sun/Moon releases in 2 months.) They are using the properties. It may not be the way you or fans want, but its theirs to do with as they please....

Each company only has about two exclusives that interest me. The vast majority of games I play on either console will be 3rd party that release on both systems. So why wouldn't I want the console that is going to run the vast majority of my games the best while also looking better?

I'm a Sony fan too, but come on. They aren't going to release PS4 Pro and then announce PS5 a year later. It'll never happen.
I think Native 4K is a bit optimistic man. And that isn't a knock on Microsoft in any way. I just don't think its possible yet for a console. Unless Scorpio is going to blownthe doors off with gigantic hardware upgrades I just don't think it can pull off Native 4k.

Sure companies are in business to make money. But in this case I cant agree with your comment. By upgrading all OG PS4's with HDR there is literally no reason to buy a Pro if you already have a PS4.

Did you not watch the meeting? They showed the difference between regular PS4, then showed it with the HDR upgrade and it was huge improvement.
Then they showed 4K separately. In short, yes, HDR by itself if fantastic. However, you still need a 4K tv to do HDR, so I can't imagine how anyone couldndo HDR by itself. Only 4K tv's have HDR.
Yes there is. If you use the vanilla PS4, you won't be gaming at 4K, even if you have a 4K tv.
4K and HDR are two different things.
HDR makes things look more alive and vibrant. The 4K is what puts more pixels on the screen. Without a console that does 4K, you can't play in 4K. You can take advantage of the HDR aspect after the update, but again, that is not the same as playing in 4K.
